Doesn't show off the new space exploration which is probably the most significant addition, but hey. It's pretty. They claim to be tweaking the difficulty right now, so as to make it more challenging for more adept players. Sounds good, hope they nail it.

I still need to pick up the last two PS3 installments.

Looking at this, I almost feel that TOD was superfluous. It was entertaining enough, but this one actually looks like a proper sequel and not just tame and safe "fan service," with new ideas even.

As a huge Ratchet fan, you can skip ToD (I couldn't even bring myself to finish it, game is the definition of "phoning it in"). I still haven't gotten to Quest for Booty yet
I'll be renting this, at best. I could see the writing on the wall with Deadlocked and my fears were confirmed when I played ToD. Fully expecting this to be another samey unpolished Insomniac game :-\

this game looks to be the most interesting sequel since going commando

I'm buying it regardless because I want to know what happens next in the story :lol Same reason I'm buying Assassin's Creed 2. I am what's wrong with this industry and it's cliffhanger non-endings :'(

Video of the space exploration. That's what "sold" me on the game. It's Wind Waker sailing and Mario Galaxy planets together. Before that video, I just thought the game looked really great, but didn't know if I wanted to pick it up.

I'm definitely picking this one up.
Loved ToD, QfB and the first three R&C games.
This one seems to be even better.

Pretty much.

I'll buy as long as the platforming is somewhat challenging, unlike the previous game. Also, enemy AI needs to be substantially improved if they want to continue to have a big focus on combat.

They claim that it's more challenging, and also more frequent. I'm taking a wait and see approach to most things Insomniac after the disappointing Resistance 2, but I hope it's everything they claim it will be. Ratchet games are always entertaining, and it sure is pretty and uniquely light hearted right now, but there needs to be something more to it to make it worth playing, as opposed to just digging up Going Commando. Otherwise it will be a rental.

QFB sucked shit

I thought it was ok. But way too short.
Finished the game is a single short setting. And no replay value whatsoever...
Too bad I bought it off PSN, otherwise I'd brought it back.

Yep.

QFB sucked shit
Yeah. I'm just going to forget it exists.

Yea especially anything said by Stevenson.
