-
a lot of blues guitarists
-
Freddie Mercury should be number 2. (number 1 is, well, spot on)
-
What an awful fucking list.
-
Al Green >>> Marvin Gaye and it's not even close.
McCartney and Dylan overrated as usual and Stevie Wonder should always be in the top 5. Forever.
Also, Xtina higher than Mariah Carey? Hahahahah
-
My grandma thinks Frankie Valli should be ranked higher!
-
I have a hard time believing that there were 17 better singers than Freddie Mercury in the 20th century, in any genre. He's top 5.
Personally for me, Marvin Gaye is #1. And the absence of Nick Drake from the list at all is criminal.
-
Why isn't Freddie Mercury #1? who are these clowns?
-
ctrl+F "Levon Helm"
Well at least he's there...
-
Bowie and Mercury are too low, shit list confirmed.
-
Axl Rose is on there :lol
-
Al Green >>> Marvin Gaye and it's not even close.
McCartney and Dylan overrated as usual and Stevie Wonder should always be in the top 5. Forever.
Also, Xtina higher than Mariah Carey? Hahahahah
Gaye was a better pure singer. Green is a crooner
Anyway, Cooke should be #1, or at least the top male singer
:lol :lol :lol @ Lennon in top 10
Dylan :lol
Elvis :lol
white people stealing the black man's creations :usacry
-
woo orbison! 8)
-
Just noticed Rod Stewart is part of the list. WTF indeed.
-
Michael Jackson by Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy
-
Just noticed Rod Stewart is part of the list. WTF indeed.
Rod Stewart is, or was, an excellent singer, he just happens to also be a jackass and has chosen to have a seriously terrible career for whatever reason (http://www.evilbore.com/forum/index.php?topic=29201.msg808722#msg808722). As I've pointed out several times (http://www.evilbore.com/forum/index.php?topic=16583.msg397359#msg397359), his early stuff is pretty damn good (http://www.evilbore.com/forum/index.php?topic=23870.msg616473#msg616473).
-
Freddy Mercury and Roy Orbison are both way too low.
I love Nirvana but I have to :lol @ Cobain being one of the 50 best singers of all time. I wonder how someone can even defend that decision. They must have a different definition of singing than I do.
-
This seems to be more of a celebration of excellent front-men/women than singing ability.
-
Then Freddie Mercury should still be higher.
-
Yeah, if you're talking best front man of all time, Freddie Mercury would be number one and David Lee Roth would be number two. Eat a dick if you disagree.
-
Lou Reed is on the list fer chrissakes!
-
Lou Reed in the sixties but no Leonard Cohen? :lol :lol :lol
-
Axl Rose is on there :lol
Axl Rose, but not Chris Cornell.
WTF
-
No Chris Cornell is totally fucking distinguished mentally-challenged.
-

-
Axl Rose is on there :lol
Axl Rose, but not Chris Cornell.
WTF
I love GNR and am not a huge fan of Soundgarden but that fact alone renders this list moot and fucking stupid.
Anyone with an ear that works knows that Cornell can sing his fucking ass off. I like Axl's 'singing' too but damn, how can they leave Cornell off this list?
-
No Matt Barlow. not unexpected tbh.
-
smh @ top anything lists
-
No Chris Cornell is definitely a travesty
-
Freddie Mercury at 18?
....
-
This is so insulting that Freddie Mercury got AIDS all over again.
-
BrandNew vindicated
-
No Matt Bellamy? :teehee
-
No Matt Bellamy? :teehee
He's on there.
66 | Thom Yorke
-
And the absence of Nick Drake from the list at all is criminal.
Nice to see another fan of Nick.
And Johnny Cash should have been higher
-
58 | Christina Aguilera
lol wut
Where is Rivers Cuomo? 8)
-
Christina Aguilera is a fucking amazing singer though

-
Bruce Dickinson is one of the best male singers ever, he should have been on the list. But fuck Rolling Stone anyway. That magazine is gay. It's too bad it's extremely popular.
-
Michael Jackson by Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy
They should have gotten Weird Al Yankovic to talk about Jacko.
-
58 | Christina Aguilera
lol wut
Where is Rivers Cuomo? 8)
Out of this list, because Rolling Stone has taste. 8)
-
Mariah Carey is waaay too low. And where's Beyonce?
Shit list.
-
The list might have been more accurate if it was a list of the most memorable singers rather than the greatest.
-
How the fuck is Whitney Houston 34?
-
How the fuck is Whitney Houston 34?
Crack is a helluva drug!
-
OMG ____ got robbed! I can't believe _____ isn't in the top 20.
