Title: Yet ANOTHER Congress Seat Going To Democrats It Seems
Post by: Cheebs on December 12, 2006, 09:32:09 PM
In a very republican district of Texas(29% of the district voted Democrat in 2004) a special election was held today. The vote isn't fully in but it is on the verge of being called(Democrat has a lead that looks to not be possible to beat).  :lol

This is incredible.  :lol This makes the Democratic lead in congress officially LARGER than what the Republican had over Democrats.

 :lol :lol

I love you Drinky.

I've given up and I don't see why anyone gets so excited now.  Not that much is going to change, it never does and it doesn't matter who is leading the country.

:lol I find ANYONE winning interesting. "I" lost in 2004 yet I obsessed for weeks about the post-win analysis's and all that.

In other words: you cried like a bitch in 2004 and considered moving to Canada until you realized the US is ten times better. Tsk tsk

I never got that into politics to analyze it that much.  I'm more of a "where the fuck is my country going?" type of guy.  And it seems that whoever is at the helm is determined to fuck me over anyways.

I skipped school to watch cable news all day the day after the election.  :-*

This is my district and frankly, even I'm surprised at the results.  Henry Bonilla is nothing but a douchebag and just the other day, I actually sent him a 3 page letter bitching about everything under the sun and how I couldn't wait for this day.  Can't wait for my response!

:rofl

In other news of extreme awesomeness, Dennis Kucinich announced that he will run again in 2008!

Sweet.
Let's play a game. Will he get .5% of the primary vote or 1%? Tough call.
