Anyone have any idea why this dude killed her?
-
Didn't he kill her on her wedding day? Probably just a spurned nerd that couldn't handle rejection
-
Nah, her body was FOUND on her wedding day.
I don't know what the deal is, it's pretty fucked up. She was kind of cute in some pics.
-
Yeah, this whole situation is really strange. I mean, they found her stuffed in the wall of the lab WHERE SHE WORKED. Did the guy think no one would find her or something? Or was it something that he did all of sudden and then panicked?
-
I bet it's the latter.
-
Yeah, this almost certainly wasn't a premeditated thing. She probably rebuffed his advances and he flipped out and next thing he knew, he'd strangled an attractive 4'10", 90 lb. Asian woman to death.
-
I feel awful for the fiance.
The best part is that immediately after being released from questioning the dipshit fled to a town only 20 miles away from New Haven :lol
-
That's quite far when the only place you've ever lived is your mom's basement.
-
he probably tried to reveal his feelings and recite some crown of sonnets to her before she makes the mistake of marrying
but she was like no wtf creep
and he was like HOW CAN YOU
and then Emily Deschanel and Angel find her body in the wall
And Angel questions the guy, and Emily figures out the cause of death
and then they beat him up
-
I imagine Arvie doing a crown of sonnet but in Latin.
-
She allegedly complained about him doing a bad job cleaning stuff.
edit: or maybe it was the other way around. Sounds like he had control issues. I'll eat my shoe if some rendition of this doesn't show up on Law & Order SVU or CI this season.
-
The only thing missing from this case is all the black people complaining about the attention it is receiving.

:rofl
-
i heard he was mad at her for how she handled the lab mice
i also heard he was a really weird guy by all accounts

:lol
I don't get it. The other guy had a girlfriend who he was apparently going to marry. This doesn't really seem like a crime of passion.
-

From where? (http://www.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/09/17/raymond.clark.profile/index.html)
There doesn't seem to be many indicators that this guy would snap and murder someone, outside of some unsubstantiated reports that he mistreated an ex-girlfriend years ago.
It's totally odd, because usually these things are crimes of passion or there are some real red flags.
-
just heard it on the grapevine
they also said that the coworkers mentioned that he would stare at people
again just by word of mouth

You probably stare at people...at the rare moments you leave your mom's basement.
-
I thought that i read the he had few girlfriend problems. The current GF said something along the lines of "we all have problems who are you to talk".
Appearantly he texted her that day to talk about animal cages. He's got control issues. Bet they talked, he got far to angry and choked her.

where is this shit coming from? :lol
i dont even live with my parents!

Not surprised if that's what happened. It's known that the suspect has a history of violence. One of the news articles mentioned that the suspect had forced sex from a previous girlfriend who was dreadfully scared of him, even after breaking up.
Also, it's highly probable that he has an Asian fetish since he was in some Asian club during High School. Big white dude in Asian club = weirdo alert.
-
and even if i did i would live on the second floor, not the basement (http://opa-ages.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/btw.gif)

Why so defensive?
I seriously won't mind living with my parents again. My room was almost as big as my current living room and my dad had a kick ass $50000 audio system.
Also, I wouldn't have to clean the bathroom and kitchen once a week.
The only problem I can foresee is the lack of privacy during pr0n watching.
-
So the suspect is a weeaboo?

ABC News has also learned that Clark sent a text message to Le early Tuesday, Sept. 8, requesting a meeting to discuss the cleanliness of the cages of the research mice.
-
There's so many comments I'd like to make but I can't
-
I seriously doubt it's a rejected love thing
-
My money's on a joint ALF/PETA operation involving brainwashing, Manchurian Candidate-style.
-
it was probably an oa reg
-
:lol

History of violence towards a small Asian woman- check.
Lives in that general area of the country- check.
Certifiably insane- check.
Probably Fatumi.

Faketami, you mean?
I'm thinking one too many IACUC violations myself (insert whistle emoticon here)
