Yeah but unlike BC, I actually played the demo of WET and it was awful. I turned it off before I even got to the end. OTOH I actually finished the Stranglehold demo more than once!

If you can turn the grindhouse filter off I'd give it a 2nd look, but the visuals were just sooo ugly.

She's basically Dante but Female. Two guns + sword; stylish action. Stupid cutscenes. I guess you could say it's trying to be Kill Bill but even then KB was heavily Japanese influenced.

I guess Max Payne is like Dante too. Rubi uses dual shotguns / smg / pistol and does slowmo dodges. The guy from Stranglehold too. Oh wait, Rubi has a sword, she is Dante.

I'll get WET when its 30 bucks or less. Shouldn't take long. I like these types of games.

Where do you get "constant" QTEs from. Even the demo didn't have that aside from the car level (which is literally at the beginning of the game). I'm on Level 5 and there's been no other levels like that.

Not a bad game at all, the only annoying thing about it is the upgrade system only allows you to upgrade at certain times. Which can be difficult if you fuck yourself in the foot by not upgrading.

That's a step in the right direction, as is allowing you to play with the original Japanese voice actors. But that won't save the story and cutscenes from being terribad and the dungeons from being overly repetitive.

WET demo was better than I expected, but I'm likely going to wait until I've played Stranglehold, which is sitting around gathering dust. I feel like if I play WET first, I'll never pick up Stranglehold again.
