Title: Microsoft fixed my 360 the same day they received it, should I be worried?

is it really the same console? they could have replaced it with a new one.

i've had this happen on a few of my repairs. i'd tell you not to worry about it but this is the 360 were talkin about here

They sent you a refurb.  My 'new' 360 makes a grinding noise when I boot it up.  :-\

they fixed mine same-day and sent back the same unit i shipped in

that repair process is so automated now it probably only takes a couple of minutes for them to swap out boards or apply the "brace"

Mine was turned around in negative-one days, I think. It was crazy fast, and I got the same unit back according to the s/n.
