I'm actually really hoping they make that N3 sequel.
It's so cute how Koei can make Dynasty Warriors mods and sell them full price

If you guys want violent you can always wait for the upcoming Troy Musou.
This game (FotNS) probably won't be released here anyways.
Like DW Gundam, I don't know shit about Fist of the North Star but if it is Musou, I'll get it eventually.I first heard about it when they announced it at TGS a year ago and I assumed it was quietly canceled or at least put on the back burner because there was no news about it. But there's apparently a lot of new videos for it up on gametrailers from this TGS.I'm actually really hoping they make that N3 sequel.Who is this "they?"

It's understandable that the graphics are like a generation ahead of the DW games because DW games have to be ported to the PS2, but I was much more impressed by the gameplay in the first N3. The combo system just made sense and felt actually pretty well balanced while DW games just were button-mashy but maybe I didn't give it enough time? Anyways, N3:2 looks like it has a more fluid fighting system and the graphics and all look a little better. They even ripped off god of war a little with the QTE's in the giant boss battle.
No, my post was asking why you're hoping Koei would make a sequel to N3.No I knew that Q Entertainment was still on the franchise.

The cartoon movie. With the English dub ONLY.
Would have been fine as a Musou game if it wasn't made in Japan, the land of no more blood and violence in games despite TONS of it in anime/manga and all kinds of other public mediums...smh.
Wii Everyday has photos of the pages (just fucking scan this shit, WTF? :lol)
Looks light years ahead of all the other Musou games, visually.
Will these games ever have good A.I. ?
you're already dead. *unfortunate body explodes*
Tecmo Koei released new screens and trailer of its newly announced beat'em up action game Hokuto Musou [Fist of the North Star Warriors], which is based on the 80's smash hit anime series Hokuto no Ken [Fist of the North Star]. You play as the protagonist Kenshiro and others to battle against gang members and savage armies. Kenshiro will have the Hokuto Shinken and other special skills from the anime series. Unlike the other Musou series, this game focus on beat'em up action adventure in open ended world.
The new physics engine allows you to destroy buildings and grabbing objects on the street to attack the enemies. The game will have the classic costumes and all new costumes for the characters.
Are we watching the same thing? That looks bad. Really bad.
I don't believe for one second that the finished version will be significantly better then what Ive just seen.
The only good DW games are the gundam ones. And even then that's a stretch.
Hokuto Musou is supposedly open-world, which is in the right direction.
In any event, I'll be picking it up. It comes out a couple days before I get there on vacation.
garbage gameplay and graphics will forever go hand and hand when it comes to musou games.

New 6 minute trailer with lots of gameplay.

Eh I dunno, this doesn't have the typical musou appeal to me. It just looks like a shitty action game to be honest. But I don't care, I'm still getting it.
CERO rated this a D? :lolYou got that right, Gundam-san. They're vicious when they suspect they can interfere with international trade.
If this were a western developed title, they'd have stuck it with a Z rating. :lol
