I thought I'd just make another thread complaining about impossible to open packaging.
There's this 360 SF4 Fightpad and a screwdriver is the only tool I have. I'm seconds away from actually stabbing the product in a fit of rage.

i hate that packaging, if anyone comes out of opening one of them without slicing up their fingers i salute them

I bested it, using pure strength and persistence!

The 360 controller + PC wireless adapter combo is the absolute worst. First big problem is that you have to cut the outline of the controller, so it's not just cutting a straight line around the edges. The other is that the edges aren't flat and instead curve towards the back of he packaging, meaning you cut a weird angle. It was well worth it since I got the bundle cheap and wireless 360 controller on my PC is awesome.

Box cutter. Slit slit slit, done. That's what I use on everything.

Every man worth his salt should have one. :punch

Same. And after working in retail for forever, I totally know how to get pretty much anything opened in 5 seconds flat.

He'd be less angry if he had more hair. My patience is also receding with my hairline.
The other day my wife bought a Wii for the kids. The packaging was just like that, and even a pair of scissors produced some nasty pokes when I was trimming the edges. That stuff is horrible.

You guys are too old to still be having problems with shitty packaging. Use a goddamn knife or a box cutter.
