i missed it - it was at "that" place. i was sitting opposite him most the night but i left fairly early, i had heard he worked for Sega in some capacity, he was next to one of the AM2 guys we know.

Apparently later in the night someone asked what he did and he stood up and belted out "Dodododododuuuuuuudooooooooo DAAAAYTTTONNNNNA ... ressss gooo awehyyyyy"

Sho was there i think.

Yeah. My friend who works at Sega showed up and was like "Oh yeah, this is XXX-san and Mitsuyoshi-san from the sound team." I was like "Oh my god, do you mean that's..." and he was like "yes... yes it is." He introduced me and within 30 seconds he was standing up singing GAME OVER YEAHHHHHHHH and DAYTONAAAA and the clientele, all of whom were game fans, experienced spontaneous head explosions of awesome. He is truly a god among men. :bow Takenobu

... and announce Chrome Hounds 2, Spikeout FOREVER, Space Harrier 2 (no the others don't count) etc etc. all for the Dreamcast 2

I've been playing Xbox Spikeout a lot, but only in single player. One of the Japanese guys on my friends list played that game EVERY NIGHT, FOR YEARS. Sadly there's no more online activity :(

How does that compare to the arcade game (which I've never played)? I remember being excited about the XBOX game, and although I had fun with it, it felt pretty janky and had some SERIOUS loading issues.
