You know it’s coming and now you can have a sneak peek at the God of War Collection. Available this November – just in time for the holidays — fans and newcomers to the franchise will be able to experience the epic journey that is God of War and God of War II on the PlayStation 3 for the first time remastered in full (edit: 1280x720) HD resolution on a single Blu-ray Disc. Both critically acclaimed games (originally developed for the PS2) will include 2X anti-aliased graphics running at 60 frames per second for an ultra smooth gameplay experience on the PS3. No, no...that's for the original GoW2 "720P mode" on PS2. It's not really 720P (what did they say it was...like 576P?) and the frame rate takes a hit.

I do find it funny as somebody said. PS3 remake and it's a golden ticket to profits. But if MS or Nintendo do it, it's milking a system and/or game franchise.

I mean, if I'm buying these games again, I'd expect it to be the best it could be. I'm not as upset about this because it reminds me of buying a blu-ray version of a movie I have on DVD. I've bought movies on blu-ray that I've owned on DVD before.

I think you're confused. They're talking about the "HD" mode in the PS2 God of War 2; not this PS3 collection.

That's great. How many Xbox games do you own, three? I have 41 titles. Less than half of those are backwards-compatible.

seems like it. They said that all the hud would be redone, but only the health bar part seems to be.
