Title: Who has two thumbs and just had their accounts stolen?

I got phished, AND HOW. Some dude in England was sending me sex toys. I'm honestly surprised it wasn't Sunggies.

So far I have had:

My facebook account taken (Got it back)
My steam account taken (Working on it)
My GMAIL taken HAS HE NO DECENCY? (Working on it)
My Amazon.com account taken (Closed, canceled orders)
My Amazon.co.uk account taken (apparently I had one, also closed)

And about $500 trying to be drained from my bank account. Joke's on him, I didn't have it. :lol

So, this happen to you guys before? And did you freak out and tell the Amazon.com lady that if the guy wasn't in England he wouldn't wake up in the morning? And are you still kind of spazzing? Cause I am.

Post by: Ganhyun on October 22, 2009, 02:01:44 PM: Never been phished, but I did have a girl at the local Sonic steal my debit-card info (back when I still ate fast food) and try to buy new tires (350.00) a new cell phone (270.00), and a bunch of car parts all in one day with just the card number, the security number on the back, and her words. I still cant understand how a Verizon store would allow her to just punch in the numbers herself instead of swiping the card.

Got a call from the bank's security group that night, locked the account, went to the local branch the next day, cut my old card in half, opened a brand new account up, and then proceeded to fight for my money back. I didnt have to fight hard, the girl tried to use the card again at another parts store while I was at the bank, and the bank called the police and the store in question. Girl was trying to fix her car and her boyfriend's car up.

I ended up getting all the money lost as well as the overdraft charges the girl gave me (I had several small 5-10 dollar purchases hit after she did what she did which gave me another 300 in overdraft fees.) removed. Also got a free month of identify theft monitoring out of it to make sure she hadnt gotten more than just the card's info.

Hope this turns out as well for you as it did me.

I have no fucking clue. I got in my car to go to work, and my phone started going crazy with emails from Amazon saying that my orders of sex toys and rough rider condoms had been placed.

I think tehjaybo bought the sex toys for his next Magic tournament, but didn't have the funds to cover the purchase and is making up this whole story!

But, I got her fired from there by calling the manager and letting him know he had a convicted felon, jailed for stealing people's debit/credit card info (Apparently she'd done this to several people besides me too according to the police department) working as his drive through employee.

I actually went to the local Zaxbys with some friends and seen her inside. I was like WTF!?!?

Contacting Microsoft to try and press charges against the guy. I have an email address he used to transfer some of my stuff over to, I'm just wondering if they can get the last used IP address of the account. I'd love to see some justice up in this bitch.

Aside from that, going now to open a new banking account. :-\

Apparently some disgruntled peon at eBay was compromising inactive accounts in some scam to get money from the company by spamming fake bids on fake watches with the accounts. Within a three month period he hit hundreds of accounts. eBay fix/closed my inactive account and wiped the money owed off it, and I even ended up with them owing me a few dollars over it due to an error on their part when crediting the account.

The OP doesn't make sense. If you really did get Phished you would know by who and when. You likely got your account hijacked or hacked.

I also later found out he stole code from my computer to cheat at school.

I had to change a bunch of passwords and lock down my computer and he got upset when I did. I also turned on my webcam when I wasn't home, caught him sneaking in here and doing shit. He denied it when I confronted him, until I said I had video proof.
