Forget the point bullshit, but goddam I'm not sure what I'm feeling taking a virtual stroll down the various places I lived. If I'm not mistaken you can go to bambino st., jacksonville, AR and see my stepdad's red ford 150 driving toward the van. Fascinatingly creepy.
-
You're not going to find yourself unless a google van passed you. I wonder how often they'll update these. Would be awesome for historical records.
-
Even the satellite photo's are grey and foggy.
-
i found my house. it's fairly updated since we recently painted it blue. it's sunny so it's probably summer/spring. definitely not autumn because the trees are full of leaves. and there's no car in the driveway so it's probably was taken after 3:30. probably earlier since it's still sunny out.
-
On my old college campus a while ago, if you go into street view you can see a few of those weeaboo kids dressed up in anime clothes fighting with cardboard swords.
-
This is truly crazy.
Here's my house....with my car parked in the drive way.
This is pretty cool, but at the same time creepy as fuck.

Your moms car, right?
-
You live in a forest?
got a better pic. And when I was younger, the majority of the neighborhood was indeed woods and trees.

No, it's mine. It's a Buick LeSabre.
-
Pretty sweet. There is only 1 road mapped through my home town. :lol

Even the satellite photo's are grey and foggy.
that's the Fog OF WAR

Here is Borys' house:

It's actually a 11 store building, Malek :-*
In the west, we don't count the slats as individual floors.
-
My ugly as sin building might as well be in Poland. Someone I knew used to run by it and then when she saw that I lived in it said "you live there?!? I'm always running by it thinking it's the ugliest building in the city" :lol :'(
It's in a great location though.

Here's the elementary school with a nice yard just across the street, no pedo.

This shit is so creepy. Google has doomed us all.
-
The other day I installed Google Earth for iPhone, and started viewing California. I put my sister's address in, and as it spiralled in toward her address, I was completely overwhelmed with homesickness. It was a stunningly powerful emotion.

Wonderful neighbourhood then. Don't sell the house and don't let the city to cut down the rest of trees!
Well that's the thing.
Pretty much all the trees ARE cut down. See those trees in the back and front of my house? Neighbors wonder why we have them because they cut down their own. But my family refuses to cut them down unless they pose danger.
When I was a kid, the house in the left of the pic wasn't there. It was nothing but woods. Same for the rest of the street on that end. You had my house, the houses to the right (in the pic that is) and the houses across the street.
But...
All this?
All that used to be woods when I was a kid. Back in the late 90's, early 00's though, they turned it all into houses. And you can tell, because those houses are all modern, whereas, my house and the others were made in the 70's/80's.
-
Well, there's plenty of neighbors who keep their trees, but most of them are the older people. The newer neighbors barely have any trees, and it's quite interesting.
I'd love to see a documentary on neighborhood/city trends.
We even have an old pic from 80's when that street was nothing but woods.
-
I have a yard that's absolutely packed with trees. No Google Road View though. :'(

My house, and my Cavalier parked in the driveway. Freaky.

I live on the first flloor. The van parked there is owned by the dude who lives upstairs (sort of a middle aged shutin). That's his cat under the bush in the front.
:punch Massachusetts :punch

This is where I spent half of my childhood. My dad still lives there.

Will post the screen when I get home but I can tell that the haven't updated in a least a year and a half since there is still some empty terrain next to my building in the satellite view.

I think Australia was one of the first countries to be street-viewed in full. We're so progressive. 8)

While they don't have my current whereabouts, my family and I lived in this house for a couple of years when I was 12. What you can't see is the huge public park this property backs on to, where my friends and I were approached late one night by an older, nervous male adult who politely inquired if we would like to make some quick cash receiving blowjobs. The cops then used us as bait for for the next three evenings to see if the guy would come back.
So my resume includes being undercover pedo-bait, top that!
I sure could use that $20.
-
:lol
He was going to give YOU blowjobs, AND pay you? Now that's what I call a deal!
-
I wonder how much it costs google to keep their Earth/Maps stuff all up to date. That's a fucking huge operation.
