MSNBC is reporting up to 10 people have been shot in some kind of mass shooting in Portland, OR.

A lone gunman tried to take a principal hostage at a New York school this morning, as well.

It's ridiculous how many shootings have took place in the past two weeks. Is it really that hard to gun FoC down?
He's pretty squirrely. You've got to wildly shoot off a lot of rounds into his general vicinity if you want to get him, so far though no one has.

This is our third mass shooting thread within a week, actually.

Police in Tualatin, Ore. are responding to a shooting in the Portland suburb, according to KPTV.
KOIN TV reports that one person is confirmed dead and that the suspected gunman is "reportedly no longer at large." As many as 10 people have been injured, according to local officials.
KGW reports that the shooting took place at a business mall. MSNBC is referring to the complex as an office park.
More details to come.

I feel like every time we have a pretty big shooting, we got a string of watered down copycats. Like that guy in Pittsburgh that shot and killed those three cops after that loon murdered 13 when he shot up that civic center earlier this year.

... How sad is that, by the way. Fort Hood only ties the amount of people murdered in a mass shooting earlier this year. Hasan didn't even break the record for most people mowed down in gunfire for 2009!

Those were only a couple of weeks after that parolee in Oakland killed three cops and made a fourth a vegetable
