and by "done" I mean "the first alpha version in which all the major features are sort of in place and sort of work is released internally"

The question is, will computer programming still love me tomorrow?

That's not the question at all.  Have you ever thought of taking up a new line work that doesn't make you crazy?

Blame the teachers?

"The use of COBOL cripples the mind; it's teaching should, therefore, be regarded as a criminal offense."

"It is practically impossible to teach good programming to students that have had a prior exposure to BASIC: as potential programmers they are mentally mutilated beyond hope of regeneration."

"Object-oriented programming is an exceptionally bad idea which could only have originated in California."

Although I'm quite accustomed to having to google whenever I enter a recursive thread.

I didn't read the spoiler, but I assume that Recursive just got his cherry popped.

Everything is just a moment.

I wouldn't give it a subject line like this if it were about a girl.  Wouldn't be prudent.

I haven't thought about relationships with women in quite some time, actually.  I'm focused on becoming a man of character.

Which war?  1900-1917 is my favorite time period ever, so pre-WWI works for me.
