That's not saying much, but it looks ok at least. Kind of looks like a 300 meets LOTR.

At least it has Liam Neeson (as Zeus) and Ralph Fiennes.

crappy trailer BUT movie looks good. DO WANT
>>>Prince of Persia>>>Avatar
-
That was terrible.
-
Unfitting, shitty music kills it.
So do all the slow-mo shots.
-
:lol
-
Hey, I wrote that tagline, Cohen. :-\

And it will forever be the best thing you have produced.

Movies looks awesome and distinguished mentally-challenged at the same time.
-
Ehhh, sort of want. This was definitely one of my favorite movies growing up. Anyone know the name of the actor that speaks during the trailer? I thought he died after being a part of Alien 3.

That's Pete Postlethwaite (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000592).
-
Oh that's right. He got owned in The Lost World. Thanks.
-
Can't wait for idiots to claim it's ripping off God of War.
-
Is the robot owl in the trailer?
-
Really?
Will you be in the credits for this movie?
Yes, as the set fluffer.
-
Can't wait for idiots to claim it's ripping off God of War.
Just like peeps who claim WoW is ripping off Warhammer Fantasy Battle, amirite?
-
Wow this looks awful.
-
It seems like a case of "Let push this shit to 11" trailer. The music totally sucks, holy shit. Aside from that, the set pieces, monster designs and all that... they look good.
-
Crap CG <<<<< Ray Harryhausen effects.
-
I think it looks pretty good. It's staying closer to the brutality and darkness of the Mythology. Sadly from what I've heard, the story doesn't. :(
Also who did Sam Worthington blow to be the leading man for all of these major films? Only thing major he has ever done prior to Terminator was the crappy croc movie, Rogue.
-
He's a good looking dude and works for cheap in an environment where Hollywood is looking for no-names and doesn't want to pay a 20million dollar salary.
That actually has nothing to do with it.
Cameron really liked him, for whatever reason, and cast him in Avatar. He recommended him to McG for Terminator, which he was then cast for. Based off Avatar and Terminator, he got the Clash of the Titans gig. And so on. He just got one good break, and Cameron is a good guy to know. Other folks listen to him.
-
...so he blew Cameron.

Yeah, not being an utter cockwad can go a long way in Hollywood. People bash Keanu Reeves for being a terrible actor, but he apparently knows enough to show up on time, know his lines, and be friendly and respectful on set... which apparently is why a lot of people still want to work with him.

Full trailer.
Pegasus is now black. There are harpies. Medusa has a very human face.
-
Yeah, I'm still not really feeling it.
-
This is one remake I don't have a problem with since the original really hasn't aged well (except for the PG tits).
I just love hearing "OMG GOD OF WAR RIPOFF" from the PS3 distinguished mentally-challenged fellows. What the fuck did they think God of War ripped off in the first place?
-
Kraken looks awesome. I'm really looking forward to it. So far the director, Louis Leterrier, is 3 for 3. Transporter 2 was the best of the bunch, Unleashed was good, and Incredible Hulk is probably one of the most underrated Marvel films thus far.
-
Looks like god of war made into a movie. David Jaffe must be proud his creation has inspired Hollywood.

Plus add in that the remake is written by Lawrence Kasdan who wrote the GREATEST MOVIE EVER MADE (Empire Strikes Back) and it could be cool.
-
He also wrote and directed Dreamcatcher.
-
... imdb doesn't credit Kasdan for writing this remake at all, Manabyte.

IMDB is wrong. Kasdan wrote the script for the remake, but wrote it for a hard R rating. Then Warners brought in Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi to rework it for PG-13.
IMDB also listed Aunt May as Carnage...does that make it right?

"From the writers of Aeon Flux comes...Clash of the Titans!"
:rofl

Steve Norrington will direct "Clash of the Titans," the remake of the 1981 mythical adventure that is best remembered for Ray Harryhausen's special effects.
Warner Bros. and Legendary are plotting a production start next year.
Basil Iwanyk will produce through his Thunder Road banner. In his first such effort since "The Empire Strikes Back," Lawrence Kasdan rewrote a script by Travis Beacham.
Norrington hasn't directed a film since 2003's "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen."
-
And then his rewrite was rewritten by the Aeon Flux guys.

Oh please, you can tell from the teaser that this movie will have more in common with gow than with the original.
-
They just toned it down to PG-13.
Fuck the original would get an R rating if re-released today.
