Why isn't John Wall playing?
Wall was forced to sit out as part of an NCAA suspension for accepting improper benefits from his AAU coach
Duke is playing UConn in the NIT final right now.
I swear, what is Brian Zoubek? 7'? 7'1? Dude plays like he is 4'8. I have never seen a player so inept around the basket. He always brings the ball down and gets it stripped by a shorter opponent, if he doesn't fumble it by himself. When he actually manages to get a shot off, he's got like a 1 inch vertical. Seriously, when he jumps, try to slide a piece of paper under his feet. I'm not sure you'll be able to. He went for a layup (layup!) moments ago, and the ball didn't even get above the rim.
In other words, keep Plumlee in the game, leave Zoubek on the pine.
Seems fitting that as I'm writing this, Plumlee is in the game and just cleaned up on the glass and converted.
I kinda expected them to be good, but overrated trainwreck of talent. Really surprised at the quality wins they've piled up
Wall :bow
Lotta talk in this thread about teams that have lost.
Well, the Cats beating the everloving fuck out of Tennessee made me smile about our NCAA tournament chances.
Who's your team, Distant?
The 8/9 game in Duke's region turned out to be Cal/Louisville.
Start the party now, Cardinals fans. Louisville is going to the Sweet 16.
Maybe I am overestimating the ACC, but that looks like a brutal run of games.
