There's like a dozen or so good, memorable Christmas tunes and then radio stations just replay them with various artists doing covers over the decades. Two weeks into non-stop Christmas music at work and I'm about to go Black Christmas on someone.

I like Christmas music as well, but I never listen to a great deal of it. So it is never at a point where it can annoy me. I once had a friend whose manager played the Beatles non-stop in the store she worked at and it drove her nuts. What's worse is he only had one of their albums, the Red album. Which is a best of album of their earlier work. Even I wouldn't like that too much.

Any album on repeat for an extended period of time is terrible.
My friend works at Payless in our mall, and on the station they have to listen to they play a loop of a Christmas song, random instrumental stuff, a second Christmas song, more random instrumental stuff, then the first Christmas song, and so on. So you hear the same two Christmas songs over and over and over. I'd stab someone.

Christmas Music was NEVER intended for the commute :(

Christmas music - Highly overrated.
Turn that shit off. I would rather make everyone listen to Radiohead on repeat for a month or so, cause they are much better.
Or Death Cab, but I'm sure no one on this forum would agree with me there.

Uh. I think I said RADIOHEAD IS GREAT.

I haven't listened to Christmas music since I last worked at a record store. I had enough christmas music to fill up my entire life from working there. The only good holiday season was the one where we snuck Space Ghost CDs into the Christmas mix. It was wonderful to see zombiefied Christmas shoppers bob along to jingle bells and then do a double take when "DON'T TOUCH ME!" balres out over the speakers.

I heard a piano version of a really cool disturbed song at a local fred meyers. It had really nasty lyrics so it was awesome to hear with a soft tone.

I saw them in concert last month.
Still good, even though they had a light show in the background that was distracting.

I can't stand Christmas music; I get tired of it as soon as they start playing it. It's the same stupid songs every year. Also, they start playing it so much EARLIER now. I swear, right after Thanksgiving, everyone starts playing it. I was listening to the radio (which I rarely do) on Dec. 1st, and one station already had Christmas music playing all day. (Go figure, it was a Lite FM station; not like they have anything good to play anyhow).
