Whoa.
You beat Manabyte to the punch!
-
Fuck yes I want a new Jedi Knight game. Shit was awesome, especially Outcast.
-
I would kill for single player KOTOR,but that won't happen :(
Hopefully its not Force Unleashed 2.

I'm all about some KOTOR action. Single Player :hyper
-
I'm guessing it's Force Unleashed 2, seeing how it's debuting during Spike TV's game award show.

Which is funny since Lucasarts canned the team before FU finished :( I feel bad for the dev team even though I didn't care for the demo. Their game went on to sell a ton, get expansion dlc and probably now a sequel. Yet they have no jobs :(
-
Scratch that, I'd REALLY LOVE to see a sequel to Republic Commando. That game, albeit incredibly short, was awesome.
I could see them doing The Uncharted Republic Commandos of War, actually.
-
Probably a Lego game.

They were developing Imperial Commando back when the 360 launched, probably was canned though.
It could be Battlefront 3. They could have taken the work Free Radical did and moved it internal.
-
Seeing as how Battlefront 3 was apparently more than 75% complete, it's probably that.
-
... awesome?
Since they're not resurrecting Dark Forces anytime soon, there's no reason to get excited.
-
it's gonna be an announcement for force unleashed 2.
-
Gears of Star Wars
-
it's gonna be an announcement for force unleashed 2.
How did Force Unleashed leave room for a sequel? It didn't.
-
How does anything in Star Wars universe leave open for a sequel or prequel. It's big money
-
It's Rebellion Studios Battlefront 3.
Indeed, should be this. Hopefully on PC too
-
Battlefront 3 with tons of shit ripped off from Call of Duty. calling it.
-

you think that would stop them from making another unleashed game? :lol
don't be an idiot.
-
Battlefront yo.
-
It's been announced
LucasArts initially opted not to release a personal computer version of The Force Unleashed, stating that doing the game well would be too processor-intensive for typical PCs[25] and that scaling down the game's procedural physics for the PC platform would "fundamentally" change The Force Unleashed's gameplay.[65] However, LucasArts later announced Windows and Mac versions of the game, developed in conjunction with Aspyr Media, for release in Fall 2009.
-
um. unleashed has been out for PC
-
Yes, it's out for the PC. Came out the same time as the SE on the PS3 and 360.
Steam doesn't have it though.

Lets see, we know Rebellion has been working on Battlefront 3 but Force Unleashed 2 is nothing more than a fanboy wish like FFVII on PS3 or MGS4 on 360. It's going to be be Battlefront 3.
-
It's probably going to be the old republic mmo everyone already knows about.
-
force unleashed 2 is no wish of mine but that doesn't change the fact that if they wanted to make another one the ending to the first wouldn't stop them.
personally i hope it's battlefield 3 for pc/ps3/360 but i'm prepared to be disappointed.
-
Tie Fighter 2
-
I'm not particularly sold on the need for a Battlefront III. I'm not normally one who would whine and complain if a sequel maintains the status quo in regards to a predecessor, but given how the Star Wars universe is and how Battlefront I and II already handled it, and II wasn't all that different gameplay or setting wise from I, I can't really get up for a BFIII when I could just as easily play go back and play the first one.
By all means, give me Hoth. (And, for the record, give me the Hoth map from the first game and not the second.) But make the gunplay better. Have it play faster like Republic Commando. In Battlefront, it's almost like you can sidestep a blaster shot at point-blank range. Also, let's move a little faster, maybe a sprint function.
It's Star Wars, I get it. Nobody ever gets hit by a blaster in the movies and you're going to play on Tatooine, Hoth, etc. But if that's going to continue to be the case with BFIII, I can stick with I and II.
-
Gears of Star Wars
I like The Uncharted Republic Commandos of War better.
-
Probably a Lego game.
Star Wars: Rock Band
Star Wars: Lego Rock Band
-
It's sad that such a game does not sound that far-fetched.
-
Call of Star Wars: Modern Star Wars
-
Legend of Padme: Padawan of Time
-
:o
would play
-
I wouldn't mind another attempt at the Force Unleashed thing. The basic idea wasn't bad, it's just that everything but the force powers felt underdeveloped.
-
The game is Star Wars Legends

...
-
It'll probably be like Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga; except using the Force Unleashed engine.
-
bump cuz manabyte was wrong yet again :)
-

PWNED you homeless gunt
-
Main character is dead at the end of TFU so a sequel makes no sense.
-
Thanks for spoiling a game I'll never play, jerk!
leper Manabyte

Bill Cosby dies at the very first of Ghost Dad, but yet there's still a movie. Use your imagination, man!

:bow Force Unleashed :bow2
:rock Force Unleashed 2! :rock
-
I hate being right :yuck
-
:bow Force Unleashed :bow2
:rock Force Unleashed 2! :rock
I'm playing it and it only seems OK. What did you like about it?
-
It is pretty generic and unoriginal, but I liked it because it's Star Wars with a good story, it's totally playable and I had fun with it.
It wasn't my favorite game of 2008 or anything, but it also isn't as bad as some people claim.
-
That about what I like so far, too: the story doesn't suck. Marketing kind of doomed them with all their next-next-gen talk of stacked middleware adding to the experience. Not Havok, no that's only normal anymore. But the Euphoria stuff with blended and cross-body blended reactions, and I think Kynogon AI stuff (?) and lastly whatever that one was that allowed items to break apart in ways determined by their material. "How can you play if wood doesn't break like wood, and concrete like concrete?" WHO CARES? The game plays like a last-gen title. ANY last gen 3rd person action title.
-
I don't have a background in tech or computers or anything like that, so I tend to not look at games in that manner, unless they're real pieces of shit. And TFU is not one of those titles.
-
I enjoyed the Force Unleashed. The Force levitating reminded me of Psi-Ops. Shame we'll never get a sequel to that game.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if the mechanic wasn't lifted entirely (excuse the pun) from that game. There's not a lot in STFU that's original. I'm enjoying the execution so far, but the camera's making me sad.
-
I hate the QTEs in that game.
-
There's a lot of "hey, why did I die?" (REPEAT SCENE) "WTF? Why am I dying there?" (REPEAT SCENE) "Oh, there's a button-cue. I guess this is a QTE, and not normal gameplay..."
There's not enough difference in the camera to tell you that a new control model has been enacted. Lame.
-
They need to copy how Bayonetta does QTEs. Gives you enough advance warning (at least in normal mode) so you don't screw it up.
-
More joy with QTEs this morning. Good christ, there is -NO- way to get the first event in a QTE on the first try. I call bullshit on "noticing the QTE has started" as one of the conditions.
-
I don't have trouble getting the first event.
-
I never had trouble with the QTEs in TFU. Some of Bayonetta's QTEs took me a second to get the hang of, though.
-
Maybe the Force is just stronger in you guys.
I see my character taking up about 1/3 to 1/2 the screen in the lower center of the frame. This is identical to normal over-the-shoulder camera in these third-person action games. Starkiller thrown across the room... I realize after-the-fact that a X-Button prompt was being displayed. So far I've never made a QTE's first button push on time.
