I really hope this doesn't sell well, so that EA doesn't let this type of XBL raping overflow to Battlefield.

Battlefield 1943 already pushed the limits of XBL pricing in terms of content received, but I think I speak for everyone here that bought it when I say that we got our money's worth.

But yeah, I'm totally worried about paying 1200 points for a single map, and then another 1200 points to unlock certain guns and vehicles. You can only drive a tank if you buy the BATTLEFIELD TANK PACK for 400 Microsoft Points!

Or, their studios could make decent games at a price that will sell, so people will stop getting fired.

The solution to flood the marketplace with high-priced content that is not just completely barebones, but not very good, is a pretty poor one.

Funny they had enough resources to do this bullshit (which mind you is already a mode in the Wii game), but we're still waiting for a patch in December for a patch announced early September.
