They aired The Muppet Show on Nickelodeon every day for like 5-8 years, including at night time. I watched that shit from 6 pm to 7 pm every day for years.

And the tv channels played Muppet Movie and Muppets Take Manhattan on the regular.

Muppets are excellent, but most of The Dark Crystal does not hold up well at all. If there was a remake, it'd all be CG; it would be crappier than even the original. Be careful, Willco might write it!

I rewatched Bambi a couple weeks ago with my baby brother, the story is all right and the animation is really good. My only problem was that they kept the same super high-pitched toddler voice actor for the adult version of Thumper but that's a stupid complaint really. I just remembered that my friends and I always referred to him as Thumper the Humper so that makes it really weird actually.
