I have honestly never heard of this case before today.

I was unaware of the fact - until today - that the prosecution can appeal a verdict in Italy. :lol
Man, sometimes I wish we had something like that here.
You must not own a television.
I don't own a television that gets any channels. I haven't watched anything with commercials for five years now outside of bar sports and the superbowl.
:bow DVDs NETFLIX PIRACY :bow2
It's been all over the news here in Seattle, since she's from Seattle, but I had no idea how much coverage it got outside the state.
Kircher's family is suing Knox in a civil suit, so any money that she'd get from movies and or books will go straight to them.
Fuck podcasts.
:bow THIS AMERICAN LIFE ON THE RADIO :bow2
It's sort of humorous that the Italian dude looks like some common nerd.
You know, I think the reason I haven't heard much about it is because I live near Detroit. With all the shit going on here, they barely have time to report on national shit, let alone international crimes. Some dude here executed his 15-year old son with a shot to the head, after the son confessed to having intercourse with his 3-year old sister. This shit sorta fades in comparison.

You're American? I thought you were European.
I wiki'd her but it doesn't really clarify on WHY she killed her roommate. Was it over money or sex (it's usually one of the the two)?

So..they convicted her with no physical forensic evidence and with no real clear motive? I'm definitely leaning towards her being innocent, or at least not guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. This would all be a little funny if it wasn't about a real murder.
