Game is awesome. Everything good about Vesperia with the addition of a top-notch Tales battle system.
Only downside is the hairlines all look like jaggy messes & for some reason they decided to go with pre-recorded in-game at 480i cutscenes for certain ones and they look hella jaggy mess :X Kinda sucks cause even on emu where main jaggies will disappear, those cutscenes are still gonna look like shit.
Well that and a horrible cast.
-
Tales games are weird in that they either have mostly awesome casts (Vesperia, Abyss), or mostly horrible casts (Symphonia).
-
Do Tales games have a lot of kanji? They at least use furigana right (I think I remember furigana in the Vesperia PS3 demo)? I might be able to stumble my way through it by the time Bandai decides to not localize it.
I'm pretty interested in playing this actually. Too bad I don't like any of the character designs that I've seen so far :-\

wow cool it'll only be 2 years when this gets released to the west.

and 20 years for the fan translation!

Nah, Tales games are easy. If you can manage generic fantasy animu you can get through a Tales game. They're easier than FF games.

Do you care about animu story? No.
Do you have a hard drive? Yes.

Namco Bandai has recalled Wii title Tales of Graces for being too buggy.
The company has confirmed ten defects in the title and has set up an exchange program for those who have purchased the title. Bugs include the inability for players to acquire certain items, music glitches, walking in place, freezing and more. Buggy bug buggity bug bug. Namco Bandai states that the company is revising its quality control system.
Going on sale December 2009, Tales of Graces is the 12th title in the Tales series. It will be released in Europe later this year.

Sounds like the Fatal Frame IV situation.
-
Apparently it is a "recall-exchange" thing...you can swap your buggy copy for new non-buggy one.
-
i read about the game having a shitload of bugs,i also read they suspect the game is missing a character like in vesperia (there is a shot where it looks like a character is missing, like there are 3 character on the left and 2 on the right... and i think they also found a code for a DEVD character similiar to how they found a PAT code in the 360 version)
basicaly scamco doesn't care

The bugs are mainly new game+ stuff. Some things are glitched and don't carry over like they should. If you just play the game once, it's fine. Kinda lolz that they can't just patch it.
-
Bet it ends up getting ported to PS3 with an extra character. :teehee

Sorry, title of the game is too gay.
