I just saw Serah get taken away in block of frozen ice. I think she dies. Also, "Erahs" is an anagram for "Serah" and it almost sounds like "Aeris," and Aeris dies, so Serah probably dies too.

And during one elaborate sequence, a female character transforms from a crystal statue back to her human form—sparkle effects, camera panning, and shimmering lights partially obscure the nude character, though side-portions of her breasts are visible (fleeting—one-to-two seconds).
if only Aeris had the power of fanservice to save her :'(

I watched one of those simucasts before closing it in disgust at how horrible Hope's and Vanille's characters are. Of course this isn't too surprising considering how horrifying their names and designs are. The english dub will probably be especially bad considering they're both apparently voiced by b-rated actors who have never done voice work before. :-\
