Enl/Enk is very familar with these games.  What are the specific differences?  I loved the original.

Goku Makaimura Kai is such an improvement over UG&G. Better enemy pacing, no stupid rings, charging magic, etc. Pretty much what UG&G's hard mode should've been (which pissed even this hardcore Ghosts 'n Goblins' fan off). Even has the original game on there if you don't like the changes. Why hasn't this series made its way to XBLA/PSN yet?

Did anyone ever try the iPhone GnG game?

yeah, it's really klunky. there's a good game, there, but it needs a decent frame rate and controls.

Will stick with Kai and the GBA GnG, then.

Both of which I suck so fucking badly at.   :'(

it's not really playable, dude. man, i hope they port it to the psp at some point, because even if the levels are a bit short (there's 6 of 'em), the boss fights and level maps are some solid design -- it's all just held back by 15 fps and shitty shitty touch controls (fake d-pad and buttons).

Sounds like it would be a perfect PSP Minis title.

Too bad it will never happen.   :'(
