Topic title.

You are going to have to be more specific...
It's buggy and relatively ugly. It's also more suited to the PC arguably due to the WoW hotbar style gameplay. It's also a pretty good game imo. There's already a Dragon Age thread somewhere on here...
-
uh
It's awesome? What do you want to know?
-
I just wanted to know if it's worth picking up from people that I trust without having to wade through a clusterfuck official thread.
-
yeah

It's tremendous on the PC. I think there are a few things that might stop you from really enjoying it if you are predisposed to them (basically, if you don't like the usual fantasy tropes of elves/dwarves/orcs and what not, even when used in interesting ways, you might find the game's story bothersome) , but the combat is great and I found the characters/interactions interesting for a video game.
Not as good as Baldur's Gate 2 but really what is.

graphics are lightyears better on the pc

indeed, the fact that the game was designed to be played from an isometric perspective-where the sometimes wacky texturing doesn't come into play as much and for which the lighting sources are obviously placed-is readily apparent when comparing the console vs. PC version.

I don't think it looks very good on the PC (it obviously looks better than on a console which every PC game does) nor does it animate especially well but perhaps that is just me.
-
It has a terrible memory leak that they fail to fix. After about a hour of gameplay expect about 2 minute load times no matter what. It sucks.
-
Its awesome on PC. There a mods that make it much better than the console version (like auto-loot, bakcpack expansions, etc.) and its really easy to install the mods.
-
Buy The Last Remnant instead
-
lol they made a mac version apparently!
will pirate just to see if it looks better than the 360 version on my 2008 unibody.

bought this the other day, only played maybe 15 minutes of it so far. seems big. sort of want to play more, but keep clicking on torchlight instead.
no idea how long my torchlight infatuation will last. gimme dem oranges, baby.
