Now a proud member of the REPUBLIC OF GAMERS!
I would post a picture but I cannot find any good ones.
Also bought a quarter ounce of Bluegrass today that is more potent than the very best Northern Lights.
Gonna be a good week.
I've never used a laptop anywhere near as powerful as this.

Film heresy: I haven't seen District 9 yet. I will this week, guaranteed. I haven't seen (500) Days of Summer either. Damn, two blu-rays that I had to pass for Christmas presents.
-
jesus christ, this tv is way too big for playing first person shooters, i just had the worst game of my life
-
FINALLY finished my Christmas shopping today. I can't go into too much detail for fear of the board being lurked by the recipient, but I've never had to jump through this many hoops to buy a recently released movie. I had to hit five different stores before finding the last copy at a Blockbuster.
Hell, I realize it's close to Christmas and all, but the stores had stacks upon stacks of every other movie released in the last year, so it was a bit of a shock to have to hunt for this semi-decent summer popcorn flick. :dizzy
Edit: Dammit, the whole reason I posted in here was to say that I finally picked up Bionic Commando for $10!

I watched District 9 Blu-Ray last night. The transfer is excellent, super sharp picture and vibrant colors.

Kids' presents for their stockings. Last minute "X'MAS" shopping is A CINCH IN NIPPONLAND.
Unfortunately all the candy and cookies at the supermarket are on standby, because the damned place doesn't accept credit cards. ??? ::)
Also picked out my own christmas present from the shop last weekend: the Lego Star Wars Republic Transport, which is usually 18,000 yen was on sale for 6900. :rock YAY, TOYS.
Edit: I note that my purchase puts me particularly in align with the thread title.
-
I bought a couple bags of Taco Doritos since you can't get them in Seattle.

Today, I went to a Nissan dealership to test drive a car so I could get a $25 Best Buy gift card. I spent the gift card on a $10 PSN card for me and a Peggle/Bejeweled 2 combo pack for my sister's birthday on 1/10.

I can't find the $10 PSN cards anymore. $20 and $50 is it out in Seattle.

The $10 PSN cards are popping up in Best Buys in my area. I have no focking clue about the land of Kurt Cobain...

We used to have $10 cards in 2008-2009, but no more. They were great little additions to gifts for friends.
