You can put a piece on the ground and keep mashing spin and it wont stop, so you can plan your next block drop, etc.

I've been using Tetrisfriends.com, but the matches are too short and you can't challenge friends. When I owned a DS, I think Tetris DS might have been my favorite game. I used the DS more for Tetris and Clubhouse Games than anything else.

The netcode was pretty decent as well, Nintendo's FC system, notwithstanding. Japanese players used to own me hard.

I loved beating guys with names made of Japanese characters. My highest ranking was 7200 or something -- I'm not even sure how good that is, really.

Post by: cool breeze on December 26, 2009, 01:11:26 PM: Tetris DS is great. Most I played Tetris was probably on my Cellphone in these past few college years. I recently checked the time played and it's like well over 30 hours. This is just from 15 minute play sessions at a time all added up.

Tetris Attack is better than regular Tetris, btw.

The ONLY game I had access to at home was fucking Tetris. My Master System had kicked the bucket and mum had taken the 486 to another city. I played so much fucking Tetris :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
