Title: Reasons to pick a 360 for a weeaboo?

to be fair i'm still going to wait for ff13 IF i'm going to pick a 360 but at least but i still wanted to make this thread,i'm not big on shooters so game like gears of war or halo do nothing for me,last time i played a wrpg was when actualy baldur's gate got released,i didn't like the game but i guess you can't generalize and beside it's been a long time (tough to be fair,last time i tried to play classic such as planescape and fallout,i wasn't able to stand them for longer than an hour) i also hate racing & sport games (so no stuff like forza,tough sometimes i make an exception if the game is called F-Zero GX)

so anyway bearing in mind stuff like this what reasons do i have to buy a 360? i've always wanted to play mistwalker rpg (i mean they are made by the friggin final fantasy creator) but i haven't heard good thing about them,there is tales of vesperia but i wouldn't bet on tales as a series,i guess there are a good chunk of capcom games? maybe ninja gaiden? maybe i could scratch something off the old x-box library?

and yea i've been thinking of the possibility of a ps3 (especialy since i love NIS and Gust stuff) but ultimately a 360 would be cheaper for me to get so please no "why not a ps3?" comments

Get Lost Odyssey and Tales of Vesperia. Both are great jrpg's. Avoid Mistwalker's Turd Dragon and the Tri Ace jrpg's. They're pretty shitty.

Theres plenty to enjoy as a weeaboo.

Weeaboos dont really care about quality. That's why they play N1 and NIS games...

The 360 also has the superior version of Bayonetta, the ultimate weeaboo game.  That alone justifies the system.

Tales of Vesperia is the best jrpg on the system, but there are a few other good ones worth playing like Lost Odyseey, Blue Dragon, and The Last Remnant.

Yeah, the shmups on XBLA like Omega Five, Ikaruga, Triggerheart Excelica and also the ones like Raiden Fighters Aces.

It has also the non-pussified version of Ninja Gaiden 2 and the superior version of Bayonneta.

Then there's obscure shit (but good shit) like Culdcept Saga, Earth Defense Force 2017.

There's a good amount of weeaboo puzzle games too.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the arcadey shit like Virtual On Online and Outrun 2 Online. :bow Virtual On :bow2

I find it very messed up that people who told me "Ohh, I'm not getting a 360 because PS3 will have the best JRPGs" can't use that argument anymore

Unless you wanna talk about FF Versus 13 or something

PS3 has Valkyria and White Knight Chronicles, and...that's pretty much it, isn't it?  I mean, Tales of Vesperia PS3 apparently isn't getting ported to the US or I figured they would've already announced it.

i like visual novels as well but not enough time to learn japanese.

Those are Japan onry though.

Everything I would add has been said, besides WarTech Senko no Ronde, Project Sylpheed (it's actually a really good game) and Mushihime-sama Futari. The 360 has the two Ubisoft Naruto games that are pretty decent too.
