Ogre Battle 64 is coming out on VC eventually.  It will probably hit Europe before America so I guess that would count.

You can dry Disaster.  It isn't good and it might be hard to classify it as a game, but it exists.

Disaster, Fatal Frame 4, Shiren 3

I want that Gundam game for the Wii...  :(

Hmmm, thought you had it for some reason.  I hear it was pretty good?  I looked for it last time I was in Japan and never found it.  I actually found that older Wii games are really hard to find in Japan.  Also no one ever ripped the iso apparently so it's a bit rare atm.

I don't have a Wii, so owning it would be kind of pointless. It actually got a rerelease earlier this month as part of the 30th Anniversary budget line.

I have that Gundam game.  It's one of my three Wii imports (other two being Disaster and TvC) and it is indeed good; it's like if Side Story on the Dreamcast except a lot more arcadey.  The game is just you and two teammates taking on various missions.  You can give them basic orders like setting your formation, but you will mostly do all the damage.  It controls slightly like Metroid Prime 3 where it's first person and you can aim around with the gun, but when it comes down to fighting, you have a lock-on to use and the pointer aiming is more for leading your shot.  When you get in close you can beam saber the zaku by waggling like crazy (it takes into account the direction you slash but that doesn't matter in the actual fight).  You also have a boost gauge for jump jets and dashing etc etc usual Gundam game stuff.  Plus you can paint your and your teammate's mechs.  I have mine all to the Alex scheme :rock

despite that cover art, the only experience with Amuro's RX-78-2 was one mission where he randomly appeared half way through and helped me finish off some Doms.  I don't remember if I ran into Char at all.

WARNING on this game and on the Gundam game-- Both run at 480i, and can look incredibly UGLY on HDTVs. In Basara's case, the PS2 version looks noticeably cleaner, although the frame rate is smoother when playing 2P on Wii.

If you like the Koei "Warriors" games, Sengoku Musou 3 is also worth a look, but that's sure to come out in English next year.  Basara 3 will be coming out in English too, but that won't be for a while.
