Title: Someone should invite Brian Michael Bendis here.
Post by: The Fake Shemp on December 31, 2009, 09:24:31 AM
His Twitter history from last night:
$661,284,488 worldwide and avatar isn't even close to turning a profit yet about 17 hours ago from TweetDeck
for those playing at home $661,284,488 is not what fox gets. theatres take almost half off the top. about 17 hours ago from TweetDeck
did i say avatar flopped? no. i was amazed at how it has not turned a profit. the blind side will make more $$ than avatar. interesting. about 17 hours ago from TweetDeck
ok, i am leaving the internet now. about 16 hours ago from TweetDeck
i am truly truly sorry i have offended the relatives of james cameron and the fox stock holders who clearly follow my every word here :) about 12 hours ago from TweetDeck
... Poor Avatards, relentlessly harassing the man who wrote Alias.

The movie is going to be profitable. You've got the video games, the home video (DVD & Blu-Ray release), the toys, the games, etc., etc. I don't think you can argue the movie is going to make money.

I always thought that the tv show "alias" was an adaptation of the comic book and since the show was shit I never really bothered to read it until a couple of months ago and realized that they only shared the name but have nothing else in common, book is pretty awesome too.
His avengers book would be better if they didn't spend 15 pages talking around a fucking table every issue.
