and it works :o
uh, not that I've done any rigorous testing or anything :lol
-
cool, I actually have some old WCFs laying around that need to be bound.
-
I read that as "WCW bindings" and for some reason I didn't find that at all strange.
-
All the new Windows things make no sense to me. WCF, WPF, etc.
'Course, that's probably because I haven't really read up on them.
-
christ, didn't see the name of the OP 'til too late and now i'm already in here :doh
what on earth are you babbling about now recursive? just this once, i want to know.
-
WCF and WPF both have this interesting quality whereby, depending on slight differences in the angle you're looking at them from, they can appear to be either awesome or complete trainwrecks. Sort of like one of those cheap hologram cards, or those famous gestalt optical illusion thingies.

serious question (I suppose this thread is a good place.) When people do homebrew programs, like say, for the wii, what language/tools are they using to make them?
-
My guess is probably C/C++ with some kind of hacked-up GCC toolchain?
-
This thread made me develop a WTF binding.

Recursive, do you think it's worth it to learn Ruby/Rails or is this some hipster bullshit that'll tank in five years?
-
It's worth learning one of the hipster dynamic languages if you haven't already, Ruby is probably the best one (that's reasonably popular, anyway). Not much point in learning more than one though.
