Title: Rogue Galaxy Demo

Anyone gotten it?  I just checked my mail and it came in.  It came with a cool pirate flag too.  Argh!

I just popped it in and barely started.  Holy fuck, this game looks amazing for the PS2.  Awesome IQ.  I'll comment on the gameplay as I get further.

The flag is about 12 inches by 24 inches.  It's really cool.  GOING ON MY WALL YOU ARE!

Himumu, I got it through the Playstation Underground shit.  I didn't even sign up for a beta or anything.

MAF, yeah, this came USPS though.  Hopefully FedEx is just backed up with the Holidays and whatnot.  I hope....

The battle system in this game is really awesome.  It's kind of like Star Ocean where you can switch between different characters in battle.  Really awesome in that aspect.  From what I can tell, it's basically Star Ocean 2's battle system with better AI, more customization (with attacks and whatnot) and not as repetitive. 

Let me repeat too, for the PS2, these graphics are AMAZING.  Best cel-shaded game I've ever seen.  Seems like a must buy to me.  The story seems kinda cliche right now.  But they're not really showing much of the story anyways, so I don't know.  But it is definitely fun and you must check it out if you're looking for a good rpg.

I'll post more impressions tomorrow.  Gotta get some work done now.

I know the retail version will have it, but does the demo have widescreen support?

I'm a member of Playstation Underground, but I have no idea if they'll actually send me one.

yeah, it is 480p, I believe.  I'll make sure when I get home.  I'll also take pictures of the game so you can see how gorgeous it is after I get home tonight.

Still no demo... probably won't get one.

PSU's random demo delivery system baffles me.

And mantra, I haven't noticed anyone else that has it.  GAF usually makes threads about every demo, but I haven't seen it.
