This pops up on the Japanese Xbox site (as long as you have Silverlight installed, it seems).
What could it be!?

just announce it already, this teaser bullshit is the most annoying fucking thing ever. the actual game is still years away no doubt.
Hopefully its BoF6.

Yeah, if that happened, I'd post nudes of myself on EB.
Ghosts 'n Goblins Natal.
Dead Rising 2, i would assume.... timed exclusive ?
Budget GPU version canceled.
Waggle version for Swaggle and Bollywiid.
Isn't it just something Street Fighter related considering that Super Street Fighter IV supposedly has a secret announcement on the same day?
If it's going to be SSFIV-related announcement I'll weep then come crawling back to the XFE begging for forgiveness.
Capcom's been reading The Bore; Dead Rising 2 now XBox 360 exclusive just to make Himuro cry.
Okay, now things get really interesting. According to Kotaku Japan, the event will showcase Capcom's upcoming line up on the Xbox360, as well as a new title unveiling which will also be playable at the event.
Hmmm...
MH3 Tri with Xbox Live :drool
MH4 would be megaton in Japan
MH4 for PC.
I don't know which would be hotter. MH3 360 or Jinfash nudes.
MH4 for PC.
oh god yes. I played Freedom Unite on the PSP this weekend and was achin' for a PC version w/ online and a mouselook camera.
game doesn't need a full blown mmo-fication. A sort of halfway point like Guild Wars would be perfect for the game.
MH4 would be megaton in Japan
now that i think about it, maybe this is next gen onimusha.BOOOOOO
now that i think about it, maybe this is next gen onimusha. If it plays like the original trilogy then bring it on. If it's like the final one on PS2 then forget about that crap.

But there already is a Monster Hunter PC game with MH Frontier. 360 port incoming? :o
Capcom is announcing a new game tomorrow. Gametrailers TV is supposed to have a trailer for a new game from Platinum Games this week. God Hand 2 / Okami 2 / Viewtiful Joe 3 exclusive to Xbox 360.Well we know the Platinum Games announcement won't be anything from Kamiya seeing as how Bayonetta just came out.
@Chronovore, Hmm, I wonder if Capcom would indeed make the same mistake they made with the Gamecube.
Does anyone know if Muramasa is a Wii exclusive?
Ah it is bullshitspoiler (click to show/hide)its not multi. Lol[close]
So allegedly regular Famitsu has now been leaked:
MHF is 360-only, ¥1400 per month, servers separate from PC version, SSFIV on 4/28 for ¥4990, LP2 on 5/20.
Take with sodium.

I've heard from several people now that , if everything planned for announcement gets announced, then Sfegs are in for a very rough day tomorrow.

Looks like it was a rough day for Wiitards, and nobody else batted an eye. Not even 360 fans seem enthused by this news.
Capcom have spoken:
REAL CONSOLES FOR OUR REAL GAMES.
QuoteNot even 360 fans seem enthused by this news.
huh? xfag party in my house, they trashed my appartment already.
(wii fans have taken this REAL bad, they aren't even making any sense. As i say... i have people who haven't played a MH game to date going on about how MH Wii is better than MHF!!! - it's fucking barmy! then to try to go on about how MHF is a complete nothing whilst MH3 is?! looooool suuuuuuuure)Quoteyea looks like dcharlie's info was a bit off
the fuck?! here's the problem going around the net. This is fucking MASSIVE news. Bigger than Wii MH3, bigger than capcom ps3 exclusives (oh wait, there aren't any)
The downlplaying is fucking hilarious and it's predominantly from people who, when challenged, say shit like "well, i only played 3 hours of MHG anyways"
this isn't just boots down throats
this is so deep that we are adding a third leg out the anus.
Wii owners got owned
Sony fans already burning corpse got some parafin piss added.

No spin elsewhere cuts it, this is the end game, this is the start of the victory parade.
Capcom trolling Wiitards(sfegs) :lol
Its funny how PS3 has no MH this gen, while PS2 was full of them.Even 360,a Japan outcast, gets one :lol
Capcom :bow2
QuoteWas talking the whole "sfags have really though day" part when most of them didn't give a shit and the wii guys took over
well, Sfags are hardly likely to throw the THIS IS A DISASTER card after being burnt for a second time but this HAS to hurt for Sfag MHers.
No two ways about it , Wii MH was a kick in the nads, X360 MHF is just thrusting red hot needles up an already engorged arsehole.

2) coupled with the "it's better than MHF on PC!" makes me think that not only have they not played MH on previous gens, they have yet to play the definitive version because this is akin to saying "rape THEN murder < Murder then rape"
etc etc etc...
He gets Wii games for free if you catch my drift. We're gonna co-op it so my decision is pretty dependent on him.
LOL so I guess I'm going with Tri then. Get a goddamn Wii speak or so help me god.
Famitsu reports from the event, players need to purchase Hunter Life Course Coupons to log online. Each ticket costs 1,400 yen ($15) and is good for 30 days of Monster Hunter Frontier Online plus 30 days of Xbox Live Gold. On PCs, Monster Hunter Frontier Online costs 1,400 yen alone. Basically, Microsoft is giving away free Xbox Live Gold with every Monster Hunter Frontier Online subscription. Expect to see a lot more Japanese Xbox 360 owners logging on to live this summer.
Also Siliconera is reporting thisYeah, that won't work in the US.QuoteFamitsu reports from the event, players need to purchase Hunter Life Course Coupons to log online. And if you already have a Live subscription? Um, MS has been working out a XBL MMO policy, and this may be it.
Lord of the Rings Online, Champions Online, Star Trek Online, and Age of Conan all have Xbox 360 versions finished READY TO SHIP but Microsoft hasn't allowed them past approval yet because they've been working out a MMO Pricing Policy. This $15/month for the MMO+Live could be it.
This event was a complete failure.*remembers capcom five*

Do these hyped-up announcements ever deliver? :-\
I wonder if this means we'll get a localized version of MH Frontier for the PC.
I just traded for MH Freedom Unite for the PSP after playing the demo and being seduced by the game's brutal, near-vertical learning curve.
Do these hyped-up announcements ever deliver? :-\
Never forget that KojiPro build up, with like five different fucking countdowns, only to reveal ANOTHER MGS SPINOFF.

well, screw you guys, i'll be online - thought this was a pretty huge announcement: best version of MH on the X360. It's massive.
Seeing as playing the JPN version and using English gets your account nuked and IP Banned, it'll be nice to not live in fear!
I assume we are going straight in at Season 7 too.... not read anything about that.

Having the option for a single-player offline mode would've been nice. I also refuse to pay to play a game I've already paid for.QuoteSeeing as playing the JPN version and using English gets your account nuked and IP Banned

i thought this was always known, hence why theres not a lot of info(IMO) about this game.
Only in Japan and Korea with everyone else IP banned.
though its crazy that they would go that far
It's an MMO, meaning I know nothing about it.
Hell, there could be an amazing Gundam MMO, and I wouldn't play it because I disagree with paying a monthly fee after buying the game.
Just because you wanted it to some amazing new Western-oriented AAA franchise doesn't make this a failure.I just wanted a new game from Capcom or a revival of an old franchise. :(

QuoteMHFU's problem was the ridiculous controls too.
lol, yeah, first time i dropped into the game i couldn't even figure out how to fecking MOVE!
I didn't think about that. :(Just because you wanted it to some amazing new Western-oriented AAA franchise doesn't make this a failure.I just wanted a new game from Capcom or a revival of an old franchise. :(
You might still get it, I guess. But why would they announce THAT on Xbox Japan?
MHFU's problem was the ridiculous controls too. I sold it after 15 minutes of play.
