prequel to BSG begins tonight.

Cannot fucking wait
How many episodes is this going to be?
-
The first season is episode 0 [which is already on DVD], the two-hour pilot next week, and 19 more one-hour episodes.
-
I bought the DVD of Caprica w/tittays last spring, so I won't watch tonight.
Wait, tonight's episode isn't technically the pilot? I'll DVR tonight just to play it safe...
-
Actually, disregard what I said. Blame this one on IMDB for feeding me falsehoods.
Tonight's episode IS the pilot, which is a combination of the first two episodes. The DVD release back in April was an extended, uncut version of the two-episode pilot airing tonight.
-
Cool
-
so i guess i'll start watching next week

Ok, that's what I figured.
-
It's been up on Hulu for a long time, I watched it a while back. I'll probably watch it again tonight though, just to refresh my memory. Basically what I remember is that the AI/Cylon chick was kinda cute.
-
Also, the daughter is a total sluts on this show.
-
:rock
-
Caprica w/tittays >>>>> Caprica w/o tittays
It was pretty weird seeing cock pics in BSG: The Plan.
-
The opening scene at the weird party was so horrible. :lol

It really was. :lol

Oh thank the Lord Jesus, the bratty girl got blown up.
-
Wait, you didn't already watch it on DVD?

Nah, this is my first time watching it.

I'm DVRing it right now, but I don't know if I'll bother watching it. I wonder if they cut anything from the DVD version due to time constraints?

It's being shown with limited commercial interruption, so content might be the only thing that got cut.

the daughter zoey is really hot

Jesus white guys have shitty taste...

This is aight but feels pointless.
Zoe is cute, I agree with fistful.
-
Show needs to end already, I wanna go grab a beer before Conan's last show.
-
Use a coaster, you dummy!
-
I thought it was pretty mediocre when I saw it months ago. It wasn't compelling enough to keep me watching.
I'm pretty much convinced that Battlestar Galactica was lightning in a bottle.
-

I'm tempted to make a mean joke... but I won't.
-
She's not hot, though. I'll agree with that. But not ugly either.
-
I watched the original DVD movie a long time back and honestly I've forgotten a lot of it. I'll watch it again when they start new episodes.
I remember liking it, but it doesn't necessarily have the strong appeal initially for me that BSG had.
It takes awhile to give an accurate judgment on some shows. Not all of them start off like a ball of fire. I sorta need to see where they are going with it.
-

She looks like a chipmunk storing nuts for the winter. "Hot" she isn't. Cute is so variable depending on the individual that pretty much anybody could qualify under that word so that's alright I guess.

Ew.
She looks better on tv.
:yuck

The BSG Pilot was pretty mediocre too, so I'll give this a chance.
-
The mini-series was good, but totally meh compared to the episode 33. OMG :o

I loved BSG pilot :(

It was meh. I didn't start watching BSG until the 2nd season after seeing the pilot.

I thought the BSG pilot was excellent along with the entire first season and I came into that highly skeptical. The rest of the show run was more uneven.
-
season 1 was soooo good. I liked every episode.
-
why did sy fy take bsg off the air instead of re-airing the episodes?
-
33 was white hot, along with all the rest of the Season 1 and the first half of Season 2. I didn't really care for the Pegasus sub-plot that much, but then Season 3 started out awesome as well. After that it dropped off and never quite reached that level of awesomeness again, but it was still mostly good IMO.
-

Cause they want to sell DVDs and Blu-rays.
-
First season of BSG is rock solid amazing. All-Time Classic stuff.
The second season is quite good and peaks for me at the Pegasus conflict. Some of the best television I've ever seen. Unfortunately the resolution to that little arc isn't so hot in my opinion which is where the first cracks start to show. There are a bunch of weak episodes right after that also which is the first time that happens sadly.
After that the show had peaks and valleys and was always good television especially relative to the medium but it never again quite had a run like that unfortunately.
It's just impossible to tell a tight serial story with 20 episode seasons.

Especially when the network forces you to break seasons in half over the course of a year or two.
-
I thought the first season of Battlestar Galactica was pretty good, but I enjoyed the second and third seasons far more. The show peaked - for me, at least - with the Exodus on New Caprica. It was hit or miss after that, but usually always entertaining.
-
In-atmosphere FTL jump OMG :o
:bow AWESOME :bow2

And its over
http://tv.ign.com/articles/113/1130889p1.html
I only saw the original pilot movie.
-
I watched part of the pilot, wasn't that interested. Never watch any more of it.
-
I liked the pilot but I think it was too big a departure from BSG which itself was never a great ratings draw. I'll still eventually get around to watching these episodes.
-
I had totally forgot this show even existed.
-
I had the first half of season one in HD on my DVR, but I lost all interest and deleted it the other day. I needed the space!
-
I really liked it. It was slow but there were interesting characters.
-
They're doing a pilot for a young Adama series set in the first Cylon War.

I don't want more prequels.
-
How about something new instead?

Sounds good. Will be checking this out. I still need to watch Caprica though... What to do?
