The art style being virtually identical to CC makes me feel like I've already played this. Of course tons of other indie devs did the same 'quirky' hand drawn looking thing to the point of overkill where I am put off by seeing a game like this now. The point of being independent is supposed to be the ability to do whatever the fuck you want, not have a particular cliched aesthetic, that just makes you lame and samey like say... the so called bloated big budget shit that small devs are supposedly rallying against and offering an alternative to. Dishwasher turned me off (same style) but I loved that dude's Zombie-baiting game. :yeshrug Wish there was more actual creativity I guess.

Is this actually out? I clicked on the thing on the dashboard and it didn't actually take me to the game, it just said "COMING SOON"

Oh, it's just buried in the store. Unless I'm seeing this wrong it's listed as $15 with NO demo, which I don't understand at all. Will wait for Borian impressions

except they're not part of the indie scene.   they were one of the first big "indie" successes when Alien Hominid got so popular on Newgrounds that it got a disc release on PS2 and Gamecube last gen.   It's one of the founders' art style that he's been using forever.
