Title: if your client computers are as old as the tech working on them

And they continuously crash at 2AM to 5AM, causing said tech to be woken up by someone in broken english, to go in and push a button, then wait an hour for confirmation from both Guatemala and India that the person in India can connect again, then it might be time to replace them.  Maybe get a couple of blades running some VM software that don't crash every night ( and that are managed by a different queue so I can savor what little sleep I already get)

Your company get rid of the old computers?

Remember, your bosses are the ones who still type with one finger...  :lol

I finish my IT certification at the end of March.  Sounds like a fun field to look forward to!

Don't get me wrong, there are days where I absolutely love what I do.  But then there are the long, stressful days with bosses breathing down my neck about ticket age and SLA violations...  it gets really stressful.  It doesn't help that I haven't been sleeping well lately, and that I don't take criticism well.  You kind of have to roll with things like that, but it's hard for me to do.

Starting to understand the gun thing now.

It's an enjoyable hobby, but I can't deny that it stems from the fact that I have very low self confidence, and no one can deny that guns can be seen as a symbol of power.  It's just one of the little ways I try to make myself feel better.

If you are having sleeping difficulty and stress issues, I suggest something natural and green.

Try lifting heavy things sometime. You'd be amazed at how trivial work seems after I get back from the gym at lunchtime. Everything just bounces off me.

Soon leads to waking-up issues though

Very rarely to I imbibe the green.  I actually prefer not to.  No real reason as to why, I just don't.

And I've been meaning to start some sort of workout...  I just am having trouble starting.  I refuse to go to a gym alone, and i'm not very motivated on exercise by myself.  The closest I get to "heavy lifting" is moving PCs around.  Given, they're the old clunkers that weigh a ton.

Without the green, while I worked at Wal-Mart I probably would have strangled people there at the end. I have rage issues. I go from completely at peace with the world to capable of committing multiple murders by knife in seconds.

I've never had sleep issues though.
