I think it's easier to say every symbiote character in spider-man.

When I read that the symbiote had been combined with The Scorpion (the pic ITT is that version), I was like :wtf? Turns out there's been multiple venoms over the past decade, and Venom symbiote clones too. But it's hard to hate on the most-current version of Venom, just because they made him into ASSHOLE SPIDER-MAN. The mini-series they gave him (The Sinister Spider-Man) was a fun read.

The original, evil Venom was a great Spider-Man villain. They fucked things up by introducing Carnage and then turning Venom into a good guy/anti-hero. He should have stayed as a villain.

Every time I bring this up in conversation people refuse to believe that this could even exist, but hey, that's The Legion of Substitute Heroes for you. All this stuff was reprinted on the super-cheap in the UK in black and white in huge omnibus editions - it really FELT like you were getting a cheap but crappy imitation of the REAL comic books you guys got in the US, with the X-Men and the Justice League. Good times though.
