Title: Obamacare has let me down
Post by: Oblivion on February 09, 2010, 05:43:01 PM: I woke up this morning unable to hear from my left ear. I've had this problem before and it never wound up going away without seeing a doctor. Now I'm going to one later today, which will be the first time I've been to one in years (the last time, funny enough was for the same reason), and I doesn't has insurance! I was hoping to ride this thing out until something got passed, but alas. :'(

My last trip to a US doctor, uninsured: $379. Total time spent in waiting room: 3.25 hours. Total time spent in office with doctor: 7 minutes. Total time spent waiting for doctor, in office: 45 minutes. Last trip to a pharmacy: $117 for 1 med for 5 days.
