Title: Can anyone recommend me any good sightseeing tour companies?

My mom was planning to come here during spring break, but she decided not to because the flight was too long (never mind that I make the same flight twice a year to visit home ::) ).  Now I'm stuck looking for something to do during spring break.  I'm thinking of going to China but I'd like to find a trustworthy (and hopefully cheap!) tour on short notice.  :-\

I'm hoping somebody can point me in the right direction, since EB is full of so many world travelers.

Anyone care to help me out?

What parts of China are you looking at? I spent about three weeks there, so I can definitely give you some advice.

Serious replies only, tehjaybo.  Interested in Beijing, Xian, Shanghai, Hong Kong.  I just want tour packages, I'm not backpacking through China by myself.  Too old for that shiz.

Hey, I'm being serious.  I'll cart you around for a weekend if you were to come in.

And in T234's defense, anyone that drinks as much as he does is apt to have a hangover from hell, and the large angry spouts that come with that.

First order of business: post this exact topic in the China section of those two forums. It's highly likely that you'll get some good responses. I did 100% free-form backpacking, so I can't help you, although I may be able to contact a friend in Shanghai who would know. I'll send her an email tonight.
