I just got this game on Saturday. Its pretty cool. Really interesting battle system and everything.

Yeah, the battle system is neat.  Did you get the original one or Origins?

The original one. Origins didnt get a PAL release...  is Origins a sequel or more of an update like Skies of Arcadia Legends?

It's actually a prequel, so it's an entirely new game.  I haven't played Origins yet.

I played the first and will try to play Origins over Christmas break. The first was ok.

Couldn't get into the first one. The sickening generic anime and awful dialog made me not want to try how to learn the combat system.


I'll probably make another attempt next month. I still need to finish Battalion Wars and Hard mode of Fire Emblem first.

You didn't think the dialog screens and battle scenes were very anime inspired?

It doesn't bother me in Tales games .. but rubbed me wrong in BK.

If generic anime is enough to put you off a game, shit. Guess you wont be playing Catlevania DoS and PoR then...

As the for VA, I just turned it off. You can do that too. Easy.
