Had the demo since early November thanks to EB.

there's nothing really exciting at all in the demo. the just took one little part with some plain-ass combat then stuck on this lame flying part

all running at a slick 20fps, except when it's totally pitch black...which fans interpret as the game running at 60fps

So why is this demo 2 gigs?
Why are console demos not compressed in the least bit? There's no excuse for a demo to be 2 gigs.
-
This old build demo is better than the whole Dante's Inferno game.
-
God of War :rock
But the demo is definitely tame, with a bit of combat, a couple of new moves, weapons and enemies. I'm alright with that though, leave the wicked awesome for the full game.
-
I didn't have a ps3 anymore when it came out, I think.
-
Man I really want to play this game, I hope that one of my ps3 owning mates get it, also where is my norse gow style game? I hope sega gets a good team to do the Thor game.
-
"Sega" and "good" in one sentence. :lol
-
They published Bayonetta man.

They published Bayonetta man.
Platinum Games is the developer, and they handled the X360 version.
SEGA handled the Ps3 version. We all know how that turned out.
-
Already had it thanks to that fucker that sold his PS3 slim.

According to Eurogamer...
So, the frame-rate. Yes, it's E3 code. Yes, there's obviously a better-than-usual chance that the final code will improve over what we see in the demo. However, the performance level in the sampler is intriguing. This rendition of God of War III is v-synced (so no tearing), and based on our playthrough across the two videos, we have an average of 36.81FPS, a low of 24FPS and a high of 56FPS.
The game has an unstable framerate, but it the lowest it goes is ~24 fps and is generally higher than that. A framerate above 30 and below 60 will generally appear to skip in a strange way, however, which definitely makes a case for just locking at 30. Hopefully they do that, as I doubt they'll reach 60 fps in the final.
I did notice the most recent media of the game now features motion blur similar to Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2 (which looks fantastic), meaning that they probably decided to stick with a lower framerate. I have to admit, though, as good as the game looks the lower framerate will be painful. The Collection was so smooth (much more than the original releases on PS2). Dante's Inferno was not a brilliant looking game, but it was a rock solid 60 fps.
I'd rather have it locked at 30 fps than be unstable, but 60 fps feels so good in these games.

didn't notice any bad graphics throughout the demo.
demo rocked. way better than darksiders demo.
