Being the leader of the pack for the loli contest :rock

I feel like I enter every contest though.. haha.

I have to agree with Robert.  I liked the ending that I got (Good/Good ending where Lamb was saved).  It seemed to fit well.

we need a new intro theme

I recommend "Peaches en Regalia" by Frank Zappa.

i like that, but i don't know if we'd get snatched off itunes over claiming it as a theme song

i've been playing it safe and trying to skirt notice by using a free loop for the intro and really old tunes i like as bump music so far

i was just thinking/posting out loud about maybe having some sort theme song contest, but considering we get an average of two entries per contest i don't know how well tehjaybo belching into a mic for 15 seconds would go over as a theme

robert's gonna be doing some editing in the future (if i ever get off my ass and send him some practice files and a "how i flail around until it's done" edit cribsheet), so maybe he can plug in some fresh jive between segments

Is it becoming a chore trying to make a new one every week? Not that I mind. I just don't want anyone getting burned out too quick.

It's really mostly a burden on Kevin, who does all the editing and is as much as superhero as anything Marvel or DC put out. Doug and I just blab for a bit in comparison, something that comes pretty natural to both of us.  :lol

We're going to expand the 'playing' section to include more movies/Tv/books/comics, which I am thankful for since talking up one or two new games a week is very difficult for me, given the kind of crap I play.

Regarding the Bioshock 2 ending, it definitely has a sort of Children of Men vibe to it that some people will find unsatisfying and potentially infuriating (though Kevin's beef was with something else entirely).

nah, i'm not burned out, just wondering if people were beginning to think the music is too corny

i like corny, but i am aware that my musical taste isn't for everyone

Glad that segment on The Saboteur popped up cuz I was just eying that on Amazon earlier after watching a few gameplay videos. My backlog is big enough as it is, so I'll just wait for it to drop in price.

And I like the idea of expanding the scope in the weekly media banter, especially for TV and movies. I think I've missed some of the podcasts, but I can't recall any TV talk since Eel watched Dexter

Who won the Himu-chan contest?  I really wanted those Black Adder DVDs, but didn't enter because was too worried that any entry might be tied back to me somehow and repeated out of context at a later date.

:duh

It's where you write pretty much the most embarassing loli love-story possible, and the most over the top entry wins.

More people need to enter these things.  I win too much stuff.  Given, this prize is :bow

I guess I missed this somehow.  :lol

So what are the official rules and where would I send my story to, that I most certainly have NOT already written and placed into a folder with many similar stories?

Should be in one of the previous show notes, but you can submit the story to the borecast site or directly to one of the hosts.
