I've never had it. What's it taste like, what's the texture?

Remember how Boogies cum was like in your mouth?  Well add poppy seeds.

Well, traditional "Helen Corbitt" style poppy seed is meant to have a crunchy texture.  Usually when you buy it in the stores the poppies offer no real crunch, its just a creamy dressing.  The real attraction though is the sweet-and-sour bite of the dressing, with an emphasis on the sweet.

Supposedly its good on fruit salads, but I'm partial to the spinach/dehydrated cranberry/poppy seed combo. It really is like a mountie just dolloped  a fresh cheese curd on your tongue.

I was pretty drunk at the time, so my memory is a little hazy. Maybe I need a refresher. :hyper

My mum makes a killer one for a spinach salad, iirc it's poppy seeds, honey or maple syrup, mustard + oil (might be missing something)

That on top of baby spinach leaves plus sliced hard-boiled eggs and mozzarella cheese

soo good :drool
