VF is indeed the king of 3D fighters... No competition, really.
I'm willing to bet Final Showdown will get a console port. As soon as it was announced I thought, "well, that must be why they never ported 5R." They don't want another case of VF4: Final Tuned.
Are there ANY chances that the new VF5 expansion will hit consoles? :(

I like to think there was a time where I was pretty damn good at VF4:E.
Wasn't ever able to get into VF5, unfortunately; peeps I used to play VF4:E with moved away/moved on to other shit, and the online is just frustrating more than anything. :(
The series is plainly amazing, but the lack of an audience really kills it as a fighter to take seriously. Such a shame.
I know more Dead or Alive fans than Virtua Fighter fans :'(

How many people here have VF5 for X360?
Maybe we can play some games together. I haven't played VF in over a year since my last JP trip. Would be fun to play some matches again.

I actually think DoA is a decent fighter. Better than Tekken for sure. Especially DoA4, which I really liked. The environmental stuff actually adds a ton to the matches. Like fighting while avoiding traffic and hitting people into cars and combo-ing off it.
I'd love a DoA5, although I'm not sure if it'd be better or worse without Itagaki.

When does this come out? Maybe I'll try it and get my ass kicked by some dude in Japan...
DoA2 Ultimate is one of my favorite fighting games.

It will be out when you are there. You could just play VF5R and not notices any differences anyway. Final Showdown is just a (big) update.
Haha, Borderbreak. You probably won't get a chance to play it. :lol

Why do you say that?
Border Break does take coins, you can play 1550 seconds for 400-500 yen without an IC card. Without an IC card you can't customize or level up your mech, but you can play. That's all I need, I just want to try it out since it will never make it to North America and more than likely never make it to a console.
I just tried playing VF5 online after maybe two years(?). It wasn't pretty. :lol Just did player matches; surprised to find that I had no trouble finding matches.Border Break does take coins, you can play 1550 seconds for 400-500 yen without an IC card. Ah, I see. Whatta rip-off, LOL. Game looks pretty cool though.
