Who's on Letterman?
-
Leno has Sarah Palin this week. Game over, Letterman. Game over.
-
Did Kevin Eubanks really quit? I haven't paid attention for a few weeks.
-
Who cares. Anyone who cares about late night talk shows outside of trolling brandnew is a loser.
:patel
-
Letterman has Bill Murray
-
I saw Leno's list of guests for his first week back. It doesn't look impressive.
At first I thought maybe there was some backlash or at least that the big stars were shying away from the controversy for now. Then I realized that I'm pretty out of sync with what's popular, and maybe the cast of Jersey Shore is actually a big get.
-
Sarah Palin will draw big. Leno has first stab at all the Olympic contenders. He'll draw this week - but I'm sure Conan might be a real competitor... on Twitter. :smug
-
Do you guys even watch these shitty talk shows?
-
Who cares.
-
itt we see Will Federwang wallow in mediocrity
-
Bill Murray is currently melting the airwaves on Letterman

Having Sarah Palin be on would be kind of interesting if Leno wasn't a terrible interviewer.

As if Conan is edgy, non-PC stuff.

Compared to Leno he is Lenny Bruce and Richard Pryor all rolled up into one.

I am going to make that face of Leno's smug face an emoticon. I have to!

Back to shitting on Middle America without them realizing it :lenowned

A new Vanity Fair article, by Mark Seal, takes a closer look at the circumstances surrounding the alleged attempt to extort David Letterman over an affair he was having with a staffer. The resulting scandal, which led to Letterman admitting to multiple liaisons with "Late Show" staffers, put the spotlight on the atmosphere around the show's set, which one former staffer describes as "like a cult."
The late night host is an out-sized presence, to say the least. His charisma is apparently so powerful it could physically affect you, according to one female staffer who described the hair on the back of her neck raising on end when Letterman would come up behind her.
Seal also examines what led alleged extortionist Joe Halderman to break down and confront Letterman with his bizarre threat to write a screenplay about the affair unless the host paid him to keep quiet. The case is heading to trial and Letterman is said to be willing to testify

Jay Leno's 'Tonight Show' Return Rates With Viewers
NEW YORK — Jay Leno got a warm welcome from viewers with his return to late night on Monday.
"The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" led the 11:35 p.m. Eastern time slot with 6.6 million viewers, beating ABC rival "Nightline," which had 4.1 million viewers, and CBS' "Late Show with David Letterman," which had 3.8 million viewers, according to the Nielsen Co.
Then many of Leno's viewers stuck with NBC, giving "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" a 2.1 million win against its 12:35 a.m. competitor on CBS, "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson," which had 1.8 million viewers.
After 17 years, Leno left "Tonight" last May in the hands of former "Late Night" host Conan O'Brien.
O'Brien's early ratings on "Tonight" were strong. But he couldn't hang onto the audience that Leno had typically attracted, leading to his exit in January. In the meantime, Leno starred in a weeknight NBC prime-time hour that was canceled for low ratings, with his reinstatement as "Tonight Show" host swiftly following.

And of course, Leno didn't fail to un-deliver.
-
Also, Letterman gave a pretty good interview with Romney.
