I am.
I haven't played either dlc episode. I have bought every gta game on day one (including chinatown) since gta vice city...but I missed out on these.
Surely I'm not the only one.
I'm considering getting gta4 for pc and getting the dlc for that too. How's the mod community for 4? Is it anywhere close to the mod community for gta3 trilogy?

Maybe for the PC, even though they will cost more than I paid for the PC version. Got that for $7 during the Steam sale.

the lost and damned is pretty awesome, enjoy!
I got Gay Tony on day 1 and I just haven't gotten around to it. I was kinda put off by reviews saying it's not as good as TLAD.

Really? Gay Tony looks up my alley: over the top with an emphasis on exploration.

My impression was that it wasn't also. I love TLAD but I put down Gay Tony after a few hours in. I'll eventually get back to it and there were things I liked about it, but it didn't capture me in the way that TLAD did. It has more "crazy" stuff in it than TLAD but I don't think its quite as unified as a game.
But then I'm of the few people on GAF or over here that liked the more straight ahead approach of GTA 4 in general.

I know it sounds dumb but I'm leaning on the ps3 version for trophies. :(

Dunno.

I bought the 360 version ages ago and never got round to playing more than a couple missions of Gay Tony. Might trade it back in and get the PS3 version specifically cause I like me some trophies :-[ (I played GTA4 originally on PS3)

I hated GTA4, so I sold it. I think I'll pass on this.

I'm the opposite: I can't be bothered to finish TLAD but have enjoyed TBoGT a lot. Then again, that over-the-top feeling is what I missed most in the GTA IV original game.

I agree with the first part of your post. I thought The Lost and Damned was way better than Gay Tony. For all the "crazy" stuff they seemed to introduce in Gay Tony, none of the controls or core gameplay was there to support it. I did like the cast of characters, though. Thought the cast of Gay Tony was better than Lost and Damned, and thought Lost and Damned was better than GTA4.
All in all, I thought Lost in Damned is the best "GTA4" out of the bunch.
Will maybe get it during a steam sale.

Don't play GTA4 or its expansions and play the superior Saint's Row 2 instead.

SR2 on the PC is a nightmare. Awesome on consoles and way better than GTA4
