So, the topic pretty much sums it up I'd say.
My current phone is an LG Voyager. Its lasted and did very well for the last few years. However, the touch screen has begun the process of dieing (have to touch several times to register, certain spots are dead already).
I know I can just do my warranty replacement and get an EnV Touch, but I'm also open to the new phones as well. I have Verizon obviously.
Recommendations?

There's nothing better on Verizon at the moment.
-
the Droid is that good?
-
Yeah, mainly because of Android. I upgraded in December from a Razr. :yuck
-
I'm definitely interested in the Droid. I just also wanted to see if there were any other good phones from Verizon out there to choose from. :)
-
Palm Pre probably, but I don't know much about it. The Droid is the best phone Verizon has spec-wise. Also, I don't think any of their other phones come with a 16GB microSD card. :bow

So, I never did get the Droid, I got busy with other things. But now, I'll be getting a new phone this week.
Does the Droid recommendation still stand or is the HTC Droid Incredible the way to go?
-
Doesnt Droid have emulators? Cmon, you cant beat that. I dunno how accurate the emulators are, but having the ability to call + gaymin is a+ phone material
-
As far as I know, the Droid Incredible is superior.
-
it is. But with no keyboard you have to buy the full versions of emus to play games.
-
I can't imagine using these emulators with a touchscreen. Incredible is suppose to be better overall though except that it has no keyboard and it only comes with a 2GB microSD card.
-
well my primary uses for this would obviously be as a phone, to access the web, etc. Not sure I'd be big on games on the phone.
-
Okay, well if a physical keyboard is no big deal for you, get the Incredible.
That swype app seems like a really fast way to type on a touchscreen. I haven't tried it myself yet though.
-
the only reason i might want a keyboard is because i like to txt with my thumbs on the qwery keyboard with my voyager i currently have.
