Lucasfilm Developing
STAR WARS Sitcom!!
Lucasfilm has a new animated “Star Wars” TV comedy in the works. “Daily Show” writer Brendan Hay will be involved, as will “Robot Chicken” creators Seth Green and Matthew Seinreich.
No channel or plotline or characters have been announced, but I’m guessing those super-clumsy Roger Roger Robots might put in an appearance.
Lucasfilm also has a non-animated “Star Wars” series (set between "Revenge of the Sith" and "A New Hope") in the works, and is reportedly developing another animated “Star Wars” series aimed at preschoolers.

Yeah, too bad the guys behind Robot Chicken are making it. :yuck

shut your mouth, call robot chicken lame
I actually watched an episode of the clone wars show (not the samurai jack one) after people kept recommending it in that aotc review thread on gaf...and it was actually decentYeah I keep hearing that but I can't bring myself to sit down and watch new star wars stuff even if people say it is good. I have been far too over-exposed to that universe already.
I stopped even feigning interest in anything Star Wars after the prequels. I would be perfectly content if this franchise was put on a moratorium and Lucas turned all his attention to fucking sexy black ladies.(http://i420.photobucket.com/albums/pp287/ObiWansLostBrother/glandhisgf.jpg)
Also is the first news related topic about George Lucas and/or Star Wars that wasn't first posted by ManaByte in EB history?

It's hard to even feign interest in Star Wars these days.
Somehow I think an Osbourne's style show about Lucas and his family would be more interesing.Hmm. He is dating a much younger black chick and his daughter is some sort of crazy professional fighter:

She is not OMG AMAZING but she is out of Lucas's league by far looks wise.and Lucas turned all his attention to fucking sexy black ladies.
Still not seeing it.

Lucas and I share the same neckline, and the same taste in ladies. :drool
Imagine what the sex tape would look like though. :-X
She looks athletic like the total anthesis of George. She must do all the work :'(

It could work.
I thought you liked Asians?
I never really got Robot Chicken. It just seemed to be endless dated jokes to 80's cartoons.

I never really got Robot Chicken. It just seemed to be endless dated jokes to 80's cartoons.I think it's funny, the only good thing that Seth Green currently makes. That's the bad thing about this idea is it'll probably be shitastic family guy type of humor with jokes that have no context that will buttrape the Star Wars name into an obscure piece of nostalgia we can't explain to our spawn.

Lucas should produce a Shakespearean tragedy set in the Starwars Universe.
Iron Man is a comical drunk, and is rarely seen sober, a parody of the fact that the real character is a recovering alcoholic. However after going to rehab and recovering he attempted to reinstate prohibition which caused a "Civil War" to break out with most of Megoville joining Cap's Secretly Drunk Avengers. Iron Man retuned to his usual drunk self however after Hawkeye shot him with a booze arrow.
robot chicken is just an animated version of this:

i find twisted toyfare theater to be funnier, but robot chicken has its moments
:bow Lucas :bow2
While the rest of us whiny bitches are complaining about him raping our childhoods online, dude is probably titty fucking the entire cast of Living Single.
The Toyfare guys write Robot Chicken actually, but Seth Green takes all the credit.Yeah, because the Twisted Mego Theater guys, having written a niche-targeted fumetti with dolls for a direct-sales-only magazine for toy collectors would definitely have gotten a TV contract on their own. Seth should have just stuck to being a fan and writing the introductions for the compendiums. Who needs fatcat Hollywood insider help?
The best Twisted Mego Theater ever was the one where the Ghostbusters find Obi-Wan's ghost on Hoth.
