If it comes in a gift basket there's a good chance it'll just hang around the house for the next year or two moving from counter to counter before it finally ends up in the garbage can. Likewise if it's the only free food at the office I'd definitely eat it.

On a slightly unrelated note, Hickory Farms has stopped selling their 2lb summer sausages online and in their catalogs and there aren't any stores that sell them left in Northern California. :'(

SHIT, Easter was Sunday. I need to go stock up on candy. I forgot all about that. :-\

It was the only candy around because it was part of some gift bag and nobody wanted it. I ate the bonbons, but then threw them up about ten minutes later.

So far I've liked just about every cheese I've tried with summer sausage (with a few exceptions) - every cheese adds something different to the combination. It's so much fun trying something new every time. :)

The sweet hot mustard doesn't sound half bad right now. :dur

Yeah...Can't say I'm a huge fan of licorice flavors either though I love using anise and star anise in recipes. It's one of those flavors that I find better in moderation.

I've seen "Sunkist Gems" before which are more or less the same idea. I wasn't aware of a fruit-shaped variety but if they look like the Barton's stuff and its kosher for passover than yes.

Yep! I bought a large pack a few years back, absolutely loved the texture of it (definitely caters to the candy eaters who usually have a strong urge to swallow their gum). I remember loving the Strawberry and Lemon... oh god I need some now :drool
