BUT

I found the effing Ryo Hazuki Jacket on XBL avatar marketplace last night!

You'd better believe Im blowing 160 points on that thing. Only got 110 points now but when I next add some... its on

However, the bigger story was their offhand announcement that a new Shenmue game will be released this winter in Japan.

For those of you who are getting excited at the prospect of another open-world game continuing the story left unfinished at the end of Shenmue II, you might want to temper your expectations. The new "Shenmue Town" (Shenmue Machi in Japanese) will be designed for this new service and unlikely to resemble the series' past installments.

There is little more information to go on at this time. The announcement itself was merely a single sentence in a press release about the two companies' new business venture. The new Shenmue is described as a "social game" and mentioned alongside a new version of Nobunaga's Ambition called "Million-Man Nobunaga's Ambition." No release date was given, beyond the statement "planned for this winter."
